Had a great time

  • 4 of 5

The house may not be fancy, but there was plenty of room for all our friends to enjoy time together very close to the skiing. We loved the wood stove and the deck had the perfect view of the fireworks and torch parade for New Years Eve. Great house for kids as there is hang out space upstairs and down. The kitchen small, but is more updated then it looks in pics. Fast internet. :)

Great Find in sugarbush!

We decided to take the kids home from college on a after Christmas ski trip and this is probably the worst week to accomplish this. But definitely found the diamond in the rough. The house was a bit older but had great character and well stocked with everything we needed. If you are looking for flashy and fancy, this is not the place but if you want home comfort- DEFINITELY! There were two families with older children and worked very well. The downstairs had enough room for everyone and their gear. IT was decorated for Christmas with a tree in the main area. The homeowner Ralph was so nice and accommodating to our needs and I knew just from our conversations it would be a good fit. There is a wood burning stove that really puts out the heat and made it very comfortable after a long day of skiing. The location was great up on the hill overlooking the slopes. There are shuttles that run at the end of the street or so easy to drive down and unload. You can access the slopes by walking down to the end of the street but there wasn't enough snow the first day and we just got lazy! (driving). We did take the shuttle over to the other mountain during our stay and that was great.

We will definitely be back and THANK YOU Ralph! It was awesome.

Perfect for a multi-generational gathering!

This is a modest and unassuming house with plenty of space for everyone. The owners were very easy to communicate with, gave great directions, and provided all the necessities for us. The football game downstairs occupied my grandsons while we adults visited upstairs, tv/cable, videos, board games, and a Nice big dining table so we could all (6) sit together, and another out on the deck where we had lunch in the sun. The house is located close to everything, a good Thai take-out, the Sugarbush Resort, a couple of small, but well-stocked little stores, yet has a nice feeling of privacy. Walking distance to a small stream and a quck drive to Warren Falls area and hiking/walking trails. We were treated to an unexpected and fantastic fireworks display from the Resort Saturday night. If we ever head that way again we will definitely go back to this property.
