Centrally Located For The Ultimate South Beach Vacation Experience.

The Space

This newly renovated unit comes with hotel style amenities, tastefully designed with comfort and function in mind. The bed is extremely comfortable and the sleeper sofa in the living room is adjustable to accommodate additional guests. The space also features a nest thermostat for convenience and an August smart lock for keyless access that works off of your smart phone (iPhone or Android). We also have a combination washer/dryer available for your laundry convenience without having to leave the unit at all. Please enjoy. We will provide your first 4 washer pods for the washing machine and dishwashwer as well as your first 4 K-Cups for the Keurig coffee machine. There's a full range and oven, as well as a microwave and dishware for eating. The carpeted bedroom is attached to a sizeable walk-in closet for storage where you will also find oversized towels extra bedding and plenty of hangers.

Guest Access

You will have full access to the space: Rooms, closet, washer/dryer/supply closet and everything at your disposal except for one cabinet in the kitchen we keep locked for the cleaning lady.

Interaction with Guests

I'm extremely available via phone email and text message, and happy to be responsive while I'm out of town. Contact is at the guest's discretion.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood itself is in the perfect location related to anything and everything you should want to do in South Beach. It's a quick 7 minute walk to the beach, a 10 minute walk to Lincoln Mall Road, 2 blocks from all of the restaurants on Española way, 2 blocks from a huge activity park and just a few blocks from all of the hotels. The best part, is that the building is set back in the residential Art Deco district. So when you're ready for some peace and quiet, (or that's all you want) you absolutely have that too.

South Beach has been called the American Riviera and an Art Deco Playground. Yet there's more than fine white sand and colorful buildings to South Beach's fantasyland of exuberant Deco architecture. South Beach offers an eclectic mix of world-class boutiques, galleries and stores. It's also a culinary hot spot for everything from gourmet to casual beachside cuisine. At night, South Beach comes alive with crowds ready to go out and have a world-class evening out.

South Beach is the Miami of postcards; the skyline of Ocean Drive has been featured on television what must be millions of times, and yes, the people are as beautiful and as they look on the tube. South Beach may be a world class partying hotspot, and that's not to be overlooked, but the daytime destinations on the island are as notable, and perhaps, more memorable, than the nightlife.

The clear blue water and the white sand beaches are a must-see for any Miami visitor; even for locals, the beautiful beach just doesn't get old. If you're taking a break from the sun, check out one of the many museums, shops or historic buildings in the area. Take a stroll down Lincoln Road for the best people watching in Miami or cozy up to a fancy bar with haute cocktails.

South Beach is an architect buff's paradise. The Art Deco buildings are an iconic part of the city and its "sun and fun" history. Soak it all in; there are certainly more than enough things to do in South Beach, Miami.

Getting Around

You can walk along Collins Avenue, Ocean Drive and Washington Avenue. There's Lincoln Road, a street designed to walk, which has been converted into an outdoor mall. It is home to many restaurants, several night clubs, stores and movie theaters within its ten block span.

Taxis abound in South Beach (which is generally defined as the entire part of Miami Beach located below Dade Blvd. and 23rd Street), but a fun and much cheaper way to see it all is to ride the South Beach Local bus service.

With stops every few blocks (look for the colorful “Local” signs on the sidewalk along the route), and service running every 10 to 15 minutes throughout each day, the South Beach Local makes getting around South Beach a breeze. Geared mainly toward visitors, the Local’s buses are newer, air-conditioned, clean and safe. The friendly drivers are quite helpful and seem to be very willing to assist riders in finding the stop closest to their destination or to offer other travel related information.

The South Beach or as the locals call it SOBE travels along a circuit beginning and terminating at the “new” Publix located at 20th Street and West Ave. The circuit runs as follows: south along West Ave. continuing south onto Alton Rd. at 6th Street until South Pointe Drive (at the southernmost tip of the peninsula) then turning north on Washington Ave until 17th Street where the bus makes its way back toward the “new” Publix via Meridian Ave. and Dade Blvd. Buses run simultaneously in each direction and do occasionally get bogged down in Washington St. traffic. Do not be surprised if you see two buses traveling southbound in the time it takes for one bus, traveling north, to show up.

Monday through Saturday service is available between 7:45 am and 1:00 am. Sunday service begins at 10:00 am and ceases at 1:00 am. The fare is $0.25, which is considerably less than regular Miami-Dade Metrobus service at $1.50.

Metrobus service can also be used throughout all of Miami Beach, Miami and the rest of the County. The best value for travelers staying a week or so is the Traveler Passport ($26) which is good for seven days and is available at the Clay Hotel on Espanola Way and other locations - it is sold. If you plan ahead you can buy online and have the pass mailed to you. The buses, downtown light rail and the elevated train were excellent and frequent. There is a Night Owl bus that will bring you back to Miami Beach easily and you will feel very free with the Passport to go anywhere once you are ready for a change from the beach or pool. Coral Gables, Villa Vizcaya, Bayside Marketplace, Coconut Grove, Little Havana, Little Haiti, Little Nicaragua, etc. etc. - all easy with one transfer from South Beach.

There are various transportations available to visitors for getting around in South Beach.

Miami Hop-on Hop-off

It's great way to visit the city, you can visit Downtown, Miami Beach, the Design District, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and more for only $39.

Car rentals

These are hard to find in Miami beach or South Beach because most people would rent a car from Miami International Airport so a few companies in Miami Beach are Sixt Rent a Car, Thrifty, Alamo, MB Car Rental, and a few others.

Citibike Miami Beach

Self service bike rental system in Miami Beach with 100 claimed stations where you can rent or return a bicycle.

Everything in South Beach is really accessible. Being that we're centrally located between everything, getting around is really easy and quite convenient. Uber / Lyft & Taxi rides are all extremely affordable, walking is also very easy. There is also a citi bike station directly in front of the building for your convenience to be able ride bikes around the beach and return them as you get home. :) (Get them fast. They go quickly). If you happen to have a car, please be careful not to park on the street. This is a residential neighborhood and they Tow quickly. We're on 13th street and there's a public parking lot on 12th. One block away. You can overnight park there for a relatively inexpensive fee. ($20.00 per 24 hour period).

Other Things to Note

Though Lincoln Road runs across all of Miami Beach, from east to west, it’s between Alton Road and Washington Avenue that you’ll find some of the most raved about dining destinations. The Van Dyke Café is by far a standout for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. The indoor/outdoor restaurant is always packed with guests but there’s rarely a long wait for a table, and locals enjoy the upstairs lounge where live jazz and Latin bands perform after 9 p.m. each day. The menu is generous and eclectic, offering a mixture of Italian, American, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean cooking styles. It’s been said that the top floor of the restaurant’s iconic building – decorated with lush green plants on its outside – was once the office of Carl Fisher, one of Miami’s foremost developers.

Just steps off the main road, on Purdy Avenue, sits Icebox Café, a casual lunch and dinner joint famously known for its “The Bomb” cake, which Oprah Winfrey includes among the world’s best. Pizza Rustica is a staple and offers rectangular-shaped pies with unique toppings like chicken parmesan, barbecue shrimp, and hazelnut chocolate. The Frieze Ice Cream Factory is ideal for ice cream lovers, while Sushi Samba is perfect for a plate of fresh sushi and locally sourced crab. Recent fantastic additions to the scene include Shake Shack, Dylan’s Candy Bar, Serendipity3, Juvia, and Doraku.

If you're looking to indulge in fresh, organic, and local fruits and vegetables, there’s a farmer’s market open every Sunday morning with plenty of mangos, strawberries, avocados, and tropical flavors and stands with vintage and antique finds and art from a variety of vendors.

SHOPPING

Don’t miss the vendors sitting along the boulevard. These artisans produce handcrafted jewelry fit for all and are usually able to customize any piece with a name or special signage. You’ll also find several men and women who take origami to a whole new level, offering to make grasshoppers and other geometrical creations out of palm tree leaves.

Of course, there’s shopping for the fashion-obsessed, too. You can spend hours inside massive, multi-level stores such as H&M and Forever21, both of which are situated inside historical buildings like the Lincoln Theatre (H&M), and Madewell, Apple, J.Crew and Lacoste. Boutique-style shopping is also abundant with smaller (and pricier) shops like Scotch & Soda, John Varvatos, Alchemist, and Osklen.

Location Good--Quite- Well furnished

I gave this a 5-star rating but thought you might like more insight into why I did so. I have a lot of requirements when I rent a place. Obviously, a lot of people agree with the 5 start but beyond that. I rented this unit for a 3-week period expecting to spend a good part of my day in it. My needs were a quiet location, hopefully top floor to eliminate ceiling noise, close to where I want to spend my time, a unit in good condition and stocked with appliances, linens as needed.

This unit is on the top floor (3rd) and the building is equipped with an elevator—a definite Plus. I checked before hand and there was no local construction. The bedroom is in the corner of the unit away from the hall with very little hope of ever hearing any traffic. Bath had a shower which was good. The condo has a washer/dryer combo that we were able to master. Security, while not highly touted, appears to be pretty good. All gates to the courtyard and building doors are secured so no one wandering the halls. Access to the beach, Washington St, Commerce and Ocean Blvd are 3-4& 5 blocks away. A very easy walk. Plenty of dining spots of all types of cuisine.

In a few words, I would rent the unit again. It’s quiet, well located, well-furnished and Jeremy was more than helpful and responsive every time I texted him. His suggestions in his information book were most helpful.

Stylish, quiet, clean and perfectly located!

This lovely, bright condo couldn't be in a better location. In five minutes, you can walk to the beach, a myriad of restaurants, shopping of all kinds and all manner of nightlife. It is very close to Española Way, Lincoln Mall Road and more. Just a great place to stay!

Cool Comfort 😎

This condo was perfect for us - it’s on a quiet street yet close to the beach - there are bikes right outside to rent - the air conditioning worked well and the rooms are well-appointed with a nice comfy bed - Jeremy the owner was a text away and everything was super organized. Side note: we walked to a Fish Called Avalon on Ocean Drive for al fresco live music and tasty dining - fantastic.

Location, location, location!

We stayed in this property in early October for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Ideally located just a short walk to South Beach, it was safe, very clean and comfortable. Fantastic American Diner just around the corner on 11th Avenue, a must for breakfast but equally good for a cheap and tasty meal. Our host Jeremy was on hand and stayed in touch throughout our stay, but in a non intrusive way, which was welcomed. If visiting again, we would definitely consider staying here again. Jeremy makes the process very easy.

Where do I start? The Condo was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The location was amazing

My wife and I stayed here for a week. It really felt like home away from home for us both. Being honest we didn't want to leave. 5 🌟?Everything is close by, 5 to 10 min walk to shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach. We definitely will book this condo again when we are in town.
