We had a very enjoyable week in Boston. When traveling, we prefer not to rent a car. We live in Los Angeles and prefer to avoid driving when in other cities. Great location and walking distance to TD Garden for sports and entertainment venues, museums, Duck tours, Boston Public Market, the newly renovated Government Center MBTA subway station, Beacon Hill, Massachusetts General Hospital and less than half a block from Whole Foods Market.
The building is clean and well maintained. It is about 38 stories tall. It has a side balcony for fresh air. The unit is large, front facing and we found everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. There are washers/dryers in the basement area of the building. We did not use the laundry facilities but did take an elevator ride to the area. It's clean, well-lit with several washers and dryers.
We would not hesitate to stay, in this unit, on our next visit to Boston.
The apartment was just as described. It is in a very good location - close to catching the subway/train. The street noise is a little loud but not really a problem. The staff downstairs were very helpful with questions. The only thing I would suggest is that they might want to consider updating the mattresses and repairing the blinds.
We were very happy with the condo. It was clean and roomy. Much better than staying in a hotel room and at the same price. And the location was great! Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Nice secure building in a nice clean area.
This high rise complex is located in central Boston. A good location if you are wanting to hit the historic areas as a tourist (as we were). Unit was as described, nice and quite clean. A small shortfall was the absence of a laundry card (required to do laundry) was corrected easily with a little cooperation between us and the Stay Alfred folks. I was quite happy and would recommend it to anyone that wants a non-hotel lodging in central Boston.
Four ladies on a New England trip. Started in Maine and ended our trip in Boston. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. The employees of Stay Alfred were extremely nice, condo was nice and could not have asked for a better location. Close to everything. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again if I were lucky enough to visit Boston again.
There were 4 of us and it was a perfect size with a great location. The health club in bldg 1 was great! There is whole foods around the corner. If you're looking for Redbox movie, it's in the subway station behind the CVS across from The Garden! The street noise is a little loud with Mass General so close, but that's city living.
