We have lived out in the Hidden Valley area for almost 30 years.
Home was literally built by us. Lots of love & creativity went into it.
Solar power. Open southern facing with view of Table Top Mountain.
We live right next door and one of us are usually here to help you, should the need arise. Because we live close we personally check you in & out for your stay.
This home is very large with a nice kitchen! Everything was well stocked and clean. The temperature inside was always perfect. We had some pretty chilly temperatures outside but we were so comfortable and warm. We never had to turn the heater on. We enjoyed having such a large place to relax in away from the city. We did miss having the internet. The owners are super nice and care about your comfort.

The owners, who live nearby, were so warm and friendly, welcoming us to this beautiful Shangri-La. The description was perfect, the house well appointed, the night sky glorious. Accommodations were as described, no surprises. After a long day at the National Pickleball Tournament the Sauna was awesome! Rita and Jim could not have been more gracious hosts offering information and help when needed.
You can't go wrong on this one........and I've rented quite often. If you are looking for a place to rest your tired body after a day of adventure, touring, shopping, gambling!, or Pickleball this is the place. Enjoy!
My husband and I were looking for the desert experience and found it at this beautiful house. It was spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Rita and Jim were the perfect hosts. Everything we needed was there. We truly enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay! The property is so peaceful and private. Close enough to town that it isn't a pain to drive for groceries and gas, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including 2 gallons of drinking water and a bag of ice! Jim and Rita went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Thank you!!
We stayed with friends and our two dogs at this property for two weeks in March.
Rita and Jim are awesome people and live next door. The house is large and open.
You do need to bring your own drinking water and all of your own groceries.
Maricopa is a fair drive to get supplies if you are not prepared. This property is very
rural so consider your length of drive and drive time if you are wanting to sight see or
go into Phoenix for anything. Would have liked to have had more shade on the patio.
(eg. table umbrella).
Thanks Rita and Jim for sending us off with the rare cactus bloom!
