7 bedroom house (sleeps 14) in Abersoch, North Wales - ideal for beach.

A large 7 bedroomed three storey, semi detached house with stunning sea views in Abersoch village.

Located in the picturesque and lively North Wales town of Abersoch. The house is centrally located, 1 minute walk from the village centre and 5 minutes from the beach, yacht club and golf club.

The house is self catering and comfortably sleeps up to 14 people, it is available as a holiday rental all year round.

Linen /Towels: Unfortunately linen and towels are not provided. All beds have duvets and pillows, hence require bed sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases.

Double room (x 3) require double bed sheets and king duvet covers.

Singles (x 8) are all single linen.

Also, there is no cot provided - we find guests prefer to bring their own.

We are the Cox Family from Cheshire, 4 brothers who have holidayed in Abersoch all our lives (we even lived there for a couple of years).

We bought Island View as a family project and holiday house in 2007 and have been trying to make this lovely big house better each year!

We had another great weekend in Abersoch last week, the changes you have made to the house are fantastic we loved the patio area and had a great barbecue on the Saturday night.

The picturesque village of Abersoch, near Pwllheli in North Wales is ideally located for all of the beaches in the Llyn Peninsula (Abersoch, Llanbedrog, Hells Mouth, Aberdaron) or the mountain pursuits of Snowdonia.

There are numerous attractions in the local area, from all types of watersports (sailing, waterskiing, surfing, kite surfing), to stunning golf courses (at Abersoch, Pwllheli and Nefyn). To a multitude of country pursuits including horse riding, walking, shooting and fishing.

The nearest town, Pwllheli, has a marina, supermarkets, funfair, go karting and leisure centre - plus a weekly market.

Slightly further are the North Wales castles of historic Criccieth, Caernarfon, Harlech and Conwy.

Perfect house for our group in a wonderful location!

We had a great stay, a few issues but all were dealt with efficiently! The house was great for our party and included many extras that enhanced our stay! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again at Island View! We are a mixed group and we all agreed!

Great location

We were an extended family of 11 staying at Island View and it suited our needs very well. All kitchen appliances were in excellent working order and there was plenty of seating both for dining and relaxing. Although lots of bathrooms/showers, one or two could do with an "update." Abersoch is busy in August but everything is within walking distance - beach, restaurants, walk through the golf course etc. We caught the bus to Llanbedrog and walked the coastal path back to Warren Beach and another day drove to Morfa Nefyn and Ty Coch Inn. In the evenings, we made good use of the gas barbecue. All in all, we felt at home and it was a lovely holiday.

Excellent location, large and convenient property. However, In need of a good clean.

Found the property in excellent location, brilliant size for a large family gathering. However, very disappointed with overall presentation. Property quite shabby both inside and out, even the crockery and glasses could have done with replacement. Generally found property quite tired. Also in need of a good clean! Finally with a large party the boiler was a constant annoyance. Had to be reset numerous times a day to deliver hot water. Overall impression, property could be great but needs some attention to bring it to the standard you would expect for a holiday rental.

Owner's Response: Chris, thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated and I'll take all of these points up with our housekeeper, who is local to the house and who we rely on to meet the standards set. I guess my reply is more for future guests - if I could have been made aware earlier, I could have arranged for a cleaner to come and do a further clean and to arrange additional or replacement crockery / glasses, this really wouldn't have been a problem - but it's not satisfactory that would need to pick this up. In terms of the heating - this is causing me a great deal of concern and frustration as our Boiler Care provider (Scottish Power) appear to have failed to isolate the issue in over 4 visits over the last 3 weeks. We are pressing continuously to keep returning until this intermittent, but highly frustrating issue is resolved. Finally, I have a family gathering at the house next weekend, so will take a full review of other points made.

Perfect location!

The property met most of our needs in terms of space, facilities and was extremely close to all the local amenities. Slightly disappointed with the lack of hot water as the boiler wasn't working well. A few cold showers were had but overall this didn't stop us having an amazing time! Beautiful town. Beautiful beaches and some wonderful bars, cafes and restaurants

Beautiful well appointed house, ideal for family gatherings

We loved our stay in this fabulous house! Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, really social sitting areas. Just a very short walk to all the amenities of Abersoch, 5 mins walk from beautiful beach. We walked down the beach to Mickeys boatyard cafe, which is well worth a visit.
