Village House in Montejaque, Nr. Ronda, Andalucia

Charming village house with courtyard and terrace recently renovated by local craftsmen in the Andalucian style. Perfect location for birdwatching, griffon vultures and eagles to be seen from the terrace. Access to semi private pool 2/3 mins and also with free Wi-Fi. The first bedroom with two single beds is off the inner courtyard on the ground floor with its own bathroom. The second one on the first floor has two large single beds and its own bathroom with shower and bath.The third bedroom on the top floor has a king size bed also with its own bathroom . There are sliding doors opening on to a terraced area with magnificent views over the olive grove to the range of mountains.The main entrance leads on to a spacious living area with a wood burning stove and electric radiators, an archway separating the dining area and the fully equipped kitchen. Located in a central position in the village,avoiding the steep climbs in the higher areas but at the same time affording wonderful views over the mountains. The area is fabulous for bird watching, cycling, walking, horse riding and golf.

About Michael / Lynda Turner

Based in England in glorious rural Suffolk, Lynda is an early years teacher and with Michael ran their own furniture restoring business.

We first visited Andalucia in 2004 and fell in love with the beautiful scenery and the Spanish way of living. We were drawn to the vibrant community feel of Montejaque, the amazing opportunities for walking close by and the village's proximity to the beautiful towns of Ronda and Seville.

In 2005 we bought this traditional Spanish village house and worked closely with reputable local craftsmen to transform it to its present state.

We spend several months of the year in Montejaque and the remainder in our home in rural Suffolk or wherever in the world our three children happen to be at the time.

We love to travel and meet new people and in recent years have visited Sri Lanka, China and India. If you have any questions about the area then please do not hesitate to give us a call. We know the village well and if we don't know the answer immediately we will certainly do our best to find out!

Muy bonita casa,muy céntrica.Comoda, pero le faltan detalles,menaje...Limpia,comoda,luminosa,piscina

Muy recomendable, la casa, el pueblo y el entorno. La casa es cómoda,bonita y original. En la terraza las noches son espectaculares. La piscina es muy tranquila y agradable, muy limpia y con suficientes tumbonas. Falta algún detalle (unas cortinitas en los balcones...alguna sartén). Nuestra estancia coincidió con la semana cultural del pueblo y fue un plus. Los vecinos son muy acogedores. Muy cerca de Ronda, caminito del rey, Setenil de las bodegas, Antequera,Juzcar ( pueblo pitufo) incluso de la costa de Marbella

quiet, nice and relaxing

This house nice and clean house is located in a small authentic village, the house is spacious for a family and restaurants, supermarkets and pools is within walking distance . Our hosts Michael and Lynda where very helpfull and made our stay very nice. We enjoyed the public pool in the other end of the village (10-15 min walk) it's larger than the pool close the house and you'll meet some of the inhabitants of the village. We would certainly recommend this house and village for a quiet, authentic and relaxing holiday.
