A huge covered porch with rocking chairs to overlook the level back yard that backs up to the woods of Prentice Cooper State Park. Take a short stroll from the back deck and sit around the fire pit in the woods. Bring your S’mores fixin’s, lots of memories to be made! There is basic cable and Internet is provided. Bring your Netflix password and your HDHI cable if TV entertainment is important to you. Lots and Lots to enjoy in Chattanooga!

The neighborhood is rural and typically southern and a cultural experience. Enroute you will see a mixture of mobile homes, RV's, abandoned cars, boats and maybe even some cars up on blocks. This is typical of the south and this is our most popular property for large families. You will probably also be able to say you have met Boscue the Rooster, our Trail’s End celebrity.

The Chattanooga, TN-GA Metropolitan Area, is an area consisting of six counties – three in southeast Tennessee (Hamilton, Marion, and Sequatchie) and three in northwest Georgia (Catoosa, Dade, and Walker) – anchored by the city of Chattanooga.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. We love guests of all types as long as they pay for the use of the property and take good care of that property during their stay.

Note: Most of our properties are rural and wooded. Please do not expect a perfectly manicured lawn. We cut a little here and there when we see fit to do so.

Reviewer Comments:

The chalet needs some tender loving care. It is nice, it could be exceptional. The first night the refrigerator went out everyone on staff was very helpful. They made a trip to the cabin with ice and a remote for the garage where two other refrigerators were located we used one of those for the first night. The next day the owner and one of the staff moved one of the refrigerators from the garage to the house and pulged into the same outlet. Once they left that refrigerator also stopped working we noticed the ground fault breaker was tripped on that plug. We plugged the refrigerator into another outlet and it started working again. Once we tripped the circuit breaker the GFI came back. We left a note to let the owner and staff to let them know the first refrigerator was probably still good, as a mater of fact they had moved it to the front porch and it was running okay the rest of our time. We reported the carpeted threshold between the master bedroom and the bathroom was very wet.The owner said they had had trouble with that shower so they shut the water off to it. We had a wonderful time in Chattanooga the chalet is located close to the Incline Railroad, Ruby Falls, and Lookout Mountains which is why we were vistiing. We did all the things we had planned. Overall we had a good time.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your stay. We are glad you appreciate us coming to the property within an hour of your call to replace the refrigerator and bring ice at 10pm and returning the next morning to check all the fridges. Other than the shower repair that occurred immediately prior to your arrival (apparently the plumber did not clean up properly and our finishing/inspection team missed the wet carpet) and the ground fault circuit interrupter that needed replacing, was there something else we missed?

We loved the property and had a great time. The guests who slept upstairs said the beds were not comfortable. Other than that, everything was fine.

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed Trail's End and sorry the upstairs guests found it uncomfortable - do you know which of the three rooms upstairs they used or was it the fold out couch?

Reviewer Comments:

Our family enjoyed getting together in this quaint craftsman home. We hiked behind the house, built a fire in the fire pit, enjoiyed the porch. We hiked on the Signal Mtn overlooks. There were also mud bogging trails nearby. Overall a great place to visit for all ages.
