Looking for privacy and acreage this beautiful four bedroom two bath home situated on 12.3 acres with own private tennis court sits across from Browning Beaver Meadow, which is a bird sanctuary with trails,close to campgrounds State game lands and state lakes. Plenty of outdoor parking on premises.This beautiful gem in the woods is located near many of the summer camps. Perfect for parents to be near their child's camp for visiting. Or just needing relaxation sit on back porch listen to the birds or read a good book. All the amenities of home with The General Store within minutes for food and last minute items . This home has four bedrooms, 2nd floor master with king bed, 2 rooms with bunk beds twin on top with full on bottom and a full bath. 1st floor features kitchen full bath master bedroom with queen bed, living room with pull out couch, and dining room for 8. Deck off living room with views of nature. A nature trail that runs along the perimeter of 12 acres, and private tennis court on property. Nature trails along Bird Sanctuary, and within minutes of many other outdoor activities.

Relaxing Three Days

We stayed here for three days and were very happy with the house, the deck, the BBQ and the property. Very clean and comfortable furniture and beds. I would definitely stay here again. The house was plenty of room for all six of us. The fire pit is huge and at the perfect distance from the house. Great way to end the day.

Beautiful, peaceful and very clean!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. The first thing that jumps out at you when you first arrive is how remote this house and so perfect for people that crave privacy and getting away from the congestion of the city. House was also very clean and had a beautiful deck that we used to bbq and hang out.

Really enjoyed use of tennis court and played some basketball.

If I were to nitpick a couple things. One, would be it would be nice to have blinds in the rooms. Two, it would be nice if there was some dishwasher detergent. Extremely minor things and other than that we had an amazing stay!

Peter/Frances were great hosts that were extremely accommodating and responsive!

Great property, perfect getaway from the city

The property had more than enough space for our group of 10 adults plus 1 chihuahua for the long weekend. Peter was a wonderful host and very responsive. We had trouble getting into the house upon arrival (the key code was not set the numbers he had instructed us), but after a quick phone call to Peter we were able to enter (make sure someone in your group has Verizon, as that was the only service provider with reception out there!).

The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary kitchenware, but make sure to bring extra trash bags if you plan on cooking. The rest of the house was also in great and clean condition with a couple of exceptions. Because the house was probably vacant for some period of time before us there was black mold that formed in the toilet bowls/tanks, which just needed a thorough cleaning and flushing, and dead bugs on the floor/carpet, which needed to be vacuumed.

We regrettably did not have enough time to utilize the fire pit or tennis court. We did enjoy a couple of games of basketball (the adjustable hoop is located to the side of the tennis court grounds), which made for a fun afternoon activity.

Since we're from the city, we're not used to ticks in high grassy areas. If you plan on bringing a dog, remember to take the necessary precautions (tick collar, etc.) and have tick removal tools handy. We found a couple of ticks on our little chihuahua after letting him run around for a couple of minutes.

Lastly, remember to read and follow the instructions of the house thoroughly. We decided to utilize the outdoor deck the last night, which also happened to be the only day of overnight rain. We accidentally left the cushions outside and they got soaked. Peter kindly did not charge us for it because his friend was able to help clean/dry them.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and I would recommend the property to everyone!

Exactly what we were looking for.

A group of us were looking for a weekend getaway in the mountains where we could take our dogs and chill. This property was the ideal spot. It was in the middle of nowhere, which gave us an escape and allowed the dogs to roam freely without fear of roads or other homes. The house itself is very nice inside. It's clean, newer and well kept. Looking forward to going back in the summer when we can utilize the private tennis/basketball court and the outside fire pit. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you

Amazing House, Place and Owner

We were consisting of 4 groups of family and stayed in this fascinating house last 2 days of end of December thru beginning of January of 2017. The entire are is beautiful and house is great. The house has every amenities and we used all of them. During our stay was cold outside but house has a fire place which was making the entire house hot and sometimes we were switching all heaters off. The recreation centers, groceries including walmart were little far in the small town however we also enjoyed to drive over there in order to have a fun. We indeed enjoyed our staying in this house and I would recommend to everyone to rent this house. My pleasure to have a deal with this Owner. Appreciate his loyalty
