location was great

  • 4 of 5

I have to agree with other reviews. the place is centrally located in center city. the noise did not bother me but you do hear street noise at times during the night. I thought it would be worse than what it was. the view is great, people at the front desk are great. I found the place and the beds very comfortable. the table in the kitchen area does still need to be fixed. a little wobbly but it did not bother us. we never had dinner there.

Great location, comfortable, everything you need

Great place... if I owned it I would update the living room furniture... that cool old building deserves classier appointments, but it's a great and comfortable space

Great place....noisy city

  • 4 of 5

The best thing about this place is it is close to all the action in Philadelphia - restaurants, bars, shopping, sightseeing,.....it would be difficult to find another place that is more centrally located. But the worse thing about it is that it’s also close to all the action and late at night (until 3:30 am on Saturday) activities which creates an amazing amount of noise on the street that permeates the apartment. So this place definitely requires ear plugs. But outside this fact, it’s a nice, comfortable apartment; it’s clean and well appointed and we definitely appreciated the available coffee both in the unit and the lobby.

Conveniently located, clean, Well provisioned, nice view.

  • 5 of 5

This is a great little apartment. Everything was as pictured. Conveniently located within walking distance to the Liberty Bell. 24 hour front desk (but not always there) but always pleasant when they were there. There are even cookies served in the evenings at the front desk. There is no designated parking. But there are plenty of parking garages within an easy walk. They are usually $28 per day. We were on the six floor. It certainly is a bit noisy if you’re not used to city living. But that was also exciting and fun. Overall a great VRBO and I highly recommend.

Philly apartment in center city

  • 5 of 5

Property was great! Great location in the heart of center city. Tons of things do to within walking distance. Plenty of room - a home away from home. Very clean, well maintained.

Had a light out in the bathroom and the bulb was replaced in the same day I reported it.

The only part which was bothersome - and in no way is a reflection of the rental - there is construction everywhere in the city. All night long you could hear the workers making all kinds of noises making it difficult to sleep.

It was clean as it should of been. Broken furniture and poor customer service.

  • 1 of 5

I checked in and it looked like it would meet my needs. The reason I choose to stay in apartment vs a hotel is to have space to work and share the place with family. the couch was broken when we checked in and tried to work around it. On the second day I gave up and called stay Alfred and explained the situation to a very nice customer service rep. First offer was to send over and air mattress and I told her I needed a couch not an air mattress. When I went back after maintenance came in and all they did was fluff the cushions. I called back and got another gentleman and was put on hold while he called the property manager and was disconnected. I gave it some time assuming that he would call me back with a fix. about 2 hours later I called back and got a new CS agent. He wanted to transfer me and I had to stop cycle. I demanded a fix. He called me back and said that they would move the apartment. This was many hours after the initial phone call and I was at a business dinner. I ended up having to leave the dinner and go and move my families stuff. If they just had resolved this on the first call it would have been no sweat. Then the next apartment I moved also had broken furniture and missing items. Nothing was essential but annoying all the same. I didn't want to invest any more time and receive poor service. I think that I would think twice if you wanted good service.
