New 2 bed apartment, 300m from beach,15 mins from Albufeira.

Luxury apartment in the seaside town of Armação de Pêra. Set in the sunny central Algarve it is a golfer’s paradise and a family favourite. Our apartment is situated on the ground floor in a private complex which has access to large swimming pool area and is located centrally to the town. It is 3-4 mins away from the beach, centre of town, supermarkets and tourist office. It is about 4 mins away from the bus station and can accommodate up to 6 people. While staying with us you will have access to the swimming pool and underground car park. It has a fully equipped kitchen complete with hob, oven, fridge-freezer, d/washer, washing machine, kettle and toaster. Also includes table & chairs and a large sofa bed. Living room with leather suite, TV & DVD player. You will also have use of patio furniture and sun lounges. Master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second b/room has 2 single beds, and two bathrooms.

Everything we needed inside the aparment and complex and only a 2 minute walk (with 3 children) to b

Fab apartment with everything you would need for a self catering stay. It was huge plenty of room for myself husband and 3 boys (4,8,12) the kitchen and living area opened up onto an empty area where my boys made friends and played football just to the right was the 2 pools which were never overly busy. Everyone was very friendly. The washing machine didntvwork while we were their but personally it wasnt an issue for us but if you are choosing thecapartment for the added bonus of a washing machine i would check that its sctually functional. The area and distance tobthe beach are great. We spent many an afternoon at the beach which can get busy but there is always space for a few towels. THE POOL WATER IS VERY COLD HAHA more bearable late afternoon.

Poorly maintained

This was advertised as a luxury 2 bed apartment. Whilst it has the capacity to be such, sadly, it has not been maintained properly. It is in a lovely area with easy access to 2 pools (1 suitable for young children), however, the apartment needed a deep clean, only 1 table lamp worked, there were a lot of broken/missing items and the owner did not respond to our attempts to contact him. We took lots of pictures and video of the condition of the property and will be using these as evidence of what we were presented with. The key holder was an onsite agent but they could not do anything without prior authorisation from the owner. This was very frustrating as the agent that visited our property could see that some simple things were desperately needed (like clean toilet brushes which only cost €1/2). After assuring us that we could access freeview channels via the sky box, we arrived to find that the satellite signal was faulty, but the owner refused to authorise a sky engineer call out. The really frustrating thing was that the tv was set up through the sky box and so it needed to be re-connected in order to receive basic Portuguese channels, but the agent never got round to doing this.

We were forced to move out early when the washing machine flooded the kitchen/dining room. We were proactive in preventing the flood from reaching the rest of the apartment by using towels to stem the flow and bailing water into the sink. We informed the agent of the leak immediately but received no support until we registered a complaint with the HomeAway travel care team. Even after the travel care team got the owner to contact us, there was no help forthcoming with clearing up the flood or replacing our towels. A plumber came out at the end of the 2nd day and in his quest to trace the problem, ended up causing another flood. I asked the managing agent for help to clean up and I was advised that the extra cleaning/replacement of towels had not been authorised by the owner and so she could not help.

All in all, this was a holiday from hell. I shall never again book a property which is managed by an owner. Our replacement property was managed by a large agency and the difference was a soothing balm.

Buen apartamento

Nos alojamos una semana en agosto, el apartamento bastante bien, muy limpio, tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. La ubicación no es mala pero tampoco perfecta, estaba un poco más retirada del paseo de lo que pensabamos, se tardan más de 3 minutos, pero en general bien. Lo único a destacar negativo la encargada de darnos las llaves, la cual tiene una inmobiliaria al lado del apartamento y solo se limitó a darnos las mismas, no nos acompañó ni a la puerta siquiera, muy seca y antipática, en cambio el trato con Alan (el propietario) excelente por email.

Great location for families with young children

We stayed at this appartement for two weeks in July and August. The appartement is spacious and has everything to make the stay comfortable. You don't need to bring linen, towels, kitchen aids etc. The pictures really don't serve the appartement right! There are two bedrooms, a living room where we put our toddler to sleep, a kitchen with dining table and couch, a bathroom with bath/shower and a bathroom with shower. Since we have young children, it's important for us to enjoy the stay at the appartement since we see a lot of it. Even though it's close to the beach, we used the confortable sun loungers a lot while our oldest was playing in the pool. The area is surrounded by a gate. Definitieve a place to return to!

Lovely property, with great access to pool

Lovely ground floor property, with great access to the pool. Very clean and nicely decorated. Location is great, close to restaurants, bars and short walk (5mins) to beachfront.

Armacao De Pera is a paradise location situated near the ancient Algarve Capital of Silves, a region steeped in history just 35 mins from Faro Airport. Located less than 10 mins drive are the two championship golf courses, individually designed by Nick Faldo and Christy O'Connor Jnr. There are a host of other golf courses both locally and just 15-20 mins away in the beautiful Villamoura. This area is also endowed with numerous fabulous beaches and the renowned Cliffs and Caves are amazing to be seen. ZooMarine, Aqualand, and Slide & Splash are all closely located; less than 20 mins drive. The apartment is only 15 minutes from Albufeira, and is central to Armação de Pêra town. A short 3/4 mins walk and you are at the beach. You don't need a car as all amenities are close by, bakery, fish/veg market, supermarkets, laundry, post office, banks, pharmacy, restaurants/pubs, Portuguese restaurants/pubs by the sea ... At night you can also find pubs with live music, karaoke, etc.
