The TVs box updated and we didn't have the sign in so weren't able to use it.
Whilst we were there the pool light never worked we weren't sure if the bulb is out or if there was a switch we were missing!!
There are few other bulbs out mainly at the front entrance to the villa.
For the first 6 days of our stay we had no pool pump or heat, The property mama get never mentioned this, a guy and woman turned up out of the blue to 'fix' the problem.
The villa is becoming a bit tired in that the kitchen and bathrooms are in need of updating, the ceiling light in the mater bedroom is hanging off, and whilst I understand there was a leak someone might have warned us of the condition! There were loose tiles on the floor of the outside shower and I cut myself on one. When I went to use the hairdryer sparks were coming off it, the cable was exposed.
When we arrived we couldn't use the safe as it was locked although after two days Chris did come around and sort it.
The master toilet seat is very loose and needs some attention.
We weren't impressed with the welcome pack wine, biscuits, crisps and milk, we would have thought knowing we were arriving on Sunday late afternoon there may have at least been something to make breakfast.
We think a quality check on some of your linens is needed - sheets with wholes in and threadbare beach towels it's not what we expected.
Finally your property managers would arrive unannounced and did this 3/4 times not very good for privacy and at one point Chris said to me 'have you not moved in three days, you were sat there three days ago' I'm sure this is not how you wish to be represented or your clients to be spoken to?
Having said all of this we would return once the villa has been refurbished as we loved the pool and the complex.
The holiday was planned as a winter holiday - somewhere to chill for a week with a bit of sun. There were only two of us, but I've always fancied a Villa break and what I saw on the website took my fancy. I must admit on arrival the Villa met my expectations and I did feel like it was a home from Home. Picking up the keys etc was easy and Alan's agents in Fuerteventura left us some essentials to get going with. I was really surprised with how the Villa was fitted out with all of the usual kitchen appliances, dishwasher, washing machine fridge/freezer cooker/hob etc all very clean and useable.
The Villa was located outside of Corallejo in a gated site with CCTV Surveillance which gave you the sense of security. The streets were well kept and very clean. The site had it's own restuarant but we didn't use it as the Villa offered us everything we needed. Corallejo was about a 5-10 minute drive away if you wanted some hussle and bussle.
The pool area, the pool and jacuzzi were all very clean and the terrace was a great place for a BBQ. There was a local supermarket literally 2 minutes drive away, with all of the items you would need, at a reasonable price.
We only spent a week at the Villa which wasn't really long enough. I didn't want to come home.
Regarding recommendations, I would definately book the Villa again and I'm trying to convince the rest of my family to join us.
