Architecturally designed duplex with lower two levels available. Located only minutes walk to subway & 24-hour street car, this gorgeous home has hardwood floors, a gas fireplace & an eat-in kitchen.

There are 2 bedrooms, one in the front & one in the rear. The front bedroom is the master bedroom w/ wall-to-wall closet & south facing window. The second bedroom is at the rear w/ a second Queen size bed, suitable for 2 people. Located on the same lower level is the stacking clothes washer & dryer, 4-piece bathroom & wet bar area.

Located only 1.5 blocks away is one of Toronot's most famous and enjoyed parks, 'Withrow Park'. An absolutely stunning family friendly park w/ swings for children & an outdoor rink for skating in the winter.

Main Level Rooms:

LIVING ROOM: Open concept, large south-facing window, hardwood floor, gas fireplace w/ 'Windsor Arch' mantle & glass table beside fireplace which is perfect for your laptop or ipad

MEDIA ROOM: New Sharp HD LCD 46' Flat screen t.v., Blue Ray DVD player w/ remote, window overlooking rear deck, hardwood floor & a full-size sofa suitable for 5th guest to sleep

KITCHEN: beautifully renovated eat-in kitchen with a glass table & 6 chairs, all stainless steel appliances including a JENN AIR built-in dishwasher, JENN AIR double french door refrigerator w/ ice maker & filtered water dispenser, a commercial 5 burner gas range & hood, plus a “below-the-counter” microwave. There is a sliding glass door that walks out to the rear deck.

Lower Level Rooms:

FRONT BEDROOM: Queen size bed w/ fresh linens,New HD LCD 32' Flat screen t.v , wall-to-wall closets, sliding 'barn style' door & halogen lighting

REAR BEDROOM: Another Queen size bed w/ fresh linens, New HD LCD 32' Flat Screen t.v., double closet w/ mirrored doors & halogen lighting

BATHROOM: The renovated 4-piece bathroom has a 5 foot tub, custom vanity w/ natural stone countertop & under counter mounted sink, a medicine cabinet & door entry doors.

BAR/LAUNDRY AREA: Tucked neatly behind sliding doors is the full size stacking clothes washer & dryer. The bar area is stocked w/ various drink glasses, ice bucket, etc.... and has a “Ceasarstone” countertop w/ stainless steel sink.


With each reservation we take on this suite, we, unfortunately, have a number of other guests which we have to turn away. We understand that circumstances sometimes happen that cause our guests to cancel so we have a cancellation policy which we feel is fair to all. If the cancellation is 61 days or more from the date of arrival, the refund is 100%. If the cancellation notice is between day 60 and day 31 prior to arrival, the refund is 75% and if 30 days or less the refund is 50% of the deposit.


This suite is not a 'party house'. Parties are not permitted and in the event you wish to book our rental with the purpose of having a party then I would suggest another accomodation might better suit your needs!

Lovely home

Our family of three stayed here over the Christmas holidays. This home has been lovingly renovated and tastefully decorated. There was a cold snap outside, but inside was nice and toasty, so we stayed warm. The bedding and towels were really nice. The lighting is truly inspiring - so many dimmers - want to do this in my house! The nearby cafe Schmooz was fantastic and the Foodland grocery store exceeded my expectations. The Danforth shops and restaurants are just several blocks away, but inside the home is was delightfully peaceful and quiet. The parking spot in the back was really appreciated. Many thanks to Wilfred for hosting us!

Quiet, clean, and comfortable

The location is perfect: a very quiet, tree-lined, dead-end residential block that is in easy walking or biking distance of the Danforth with many restaurants and shops, and a quick trip by car or public transit to anywhere else in the city.

The house is exceptionally clean, with all white, brand-new looking bedding and towels. The whole place looks freshly painted and renovated. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you could need.

Wilfred was very helpful with lots of good recommendations and information.

A terrific stay in Toronto, I was very happy with this lovely home. We were 4 ladies n our 40s and felt very comfortable in this spot.

There was a mixed bag of positives and negatives but the negatives are major enough to affect your stay, esp. if it's in summer. Our sleep was seriously interrupted throughout our stay.

The place was very clean and very well stocked and in a good location. However Wilfred isn't the best at communication, he insists that you call him when you land before giving you arrival instructions, we considered this unreasonable as it cost us to call him on a payphone, he didn't meet us at the property and the info he gave over the phone he could of quite easily written in an email which I had requested but he refused to do.

The major issue was the Aircon. There is a very large and noisy unit which services the whole building and which you have no control over, both bedrooms in this suite are located in the basement next to the unit, it's so noisy it would be impossible to sleep without earplugs and patience. On our third night it broke completely which was equally as difficult as the temperatures were in the mid thirty degrees Celsius. I repeatedly tried to contact Wilfred during our stay to resolve the issue but he was slow to respond. Since arriving home been have been in touch repeatedly to try and resolve our concerns and what was a poor stay but again he only responds when he can be bothered, and when he does he has a nonchalant, insolent attitude that he isn't prepared to do anything about. I def wouldn't stay again as I feel a good nights sleep is the most important thing about accommodations and Wilfred isn't a great host.
