The professionally equipped accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, 1 double (with twin doors opening on to a shaded patio) separated by a full bathroom in between from a light and airy twin bedded room.

Large living room with feature open fireplace, easy furniture and dining area . DVD, Colour teletext TV with 100+ channels featuring, amongst many others, BBC 1, 2, 3, 4, ITV 1, 2, 3, 4, channel 4, 5. Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Eurosport, Sky Movies etc.,etc! .

The American style kitchen includes a full oven with hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, all cooking utensils & crockery.

The property is complete with towels, linen, electrical fans, hairdryer, steam iron etc., maid service is provided between lets.

There is a private walled garden with sea views, shaded terrace, patio table and chairs (there are two sets of patio doors, from the lounge and the main bedroom). The terrace enjoys day-long sunshine but, is also equipped with large cantilever blinds for those really hot days!

Check out our two superb, secluded, semi-detached villas within this development of individually designed, charming, privately owned properties. Situated just above 'Burriana', Nerja's largest and most cosmopolitan blue-flag beach, our holiday homes are ideally situated for the sea and the town centre. On-site bars including the famous 'Cave Bar',A good on-site restaurant (with an extensive variety of other casual and fine-dining restaurants just a stroll away), three large, sparkling pools with safe and separate kiddies pools,free internet (WLAN) is available with 'hot-spots' both on-site and in any number of other local locations.

WIFI on a pay-as-you-go basis can also be provided in the property - please be sure to ask for details prior to booking.

Two well stocked pool-side bars, money-changing facilities, doctor, large supermarket and the most beautiful communal gardens in Nerja, make this the most desirable complex in town for a totally relaxing holiday in the sun.

Coast/Beach: Nerja and the surrounding area offer any number of beautiful beaches. There are separate beaches designated for naturists.

The stunningly beautiful town of Nerja itself has grown over the years from a small coastal fishing village into the smart resort it now is. Nerja's development has been very carefully overseen in order to keep it special.

Nerja with it's nine beaches is without the high rise skyline so very typical of the resorts further west. From the whitewashed narrow streets of the old quarter with it's tapas bars and front door fruit and vegetable stalls to modern hotels and high street brand name shops and a diverse choice of quality restaurants. Nerja embraces the very best of old and modern Spain.

The flavour of Nerja is that of a sophisticated holiday town aimed at discerning travellers who want quality , choice and the unique experience of the real Spain.

As with any Spanish town, Nerja is really 'child-friendly'.

Skiing: Nerja is only one to one and a half hours by car away from the skiing resort of Sierra Nevada. There you will find everything you could ever want for skiing whatever your level of competance! A bus service to the ski slopes including the facility to hire equipment at discounted prices is organised in the season on a weekly basis by the town of Nerja.

Golf, Walking and more: There are numerous golf courses in the immediate vicinity but, be aware that some courses may ask for details of your playing handicap if you are to use the course.

Generally, the area is one of outstanding natural beauty with rolling hills against a backdrop of impressive mountains all around. Nerja is surrounded by the 'National Park of the Sierra Almijara and Axarquia'. Within easy walking distance are just so many picturesque well-documented walks suitable for walkers at all levels from the beginner to the most experienced. There are also any number of guided walks on offer or, why not consider an 'Adventure day out' - this involves 4x4 off-road driving coupled with walks led by an experienced guide (pic-nic lunch included), we have all the details you need.

Off-road biking, conducted 'Mountain biking in the Axarquia', quad biking (helmets etc., provided) along with cycling, horse riding, snorkeling, jet-skiing and diving (PADI) , all readily available locally - your choice!

Last, but by no means least, don't forget the famous tourist attraction which is the 'Caves of Nerja' - this the second most popular tourist attraction in all of Spain and really is a 'must-do attraction' !

Super 'Find' Pueblo 60 fits the bill.

We had been told about Nerja and the 'El Capistrano' complex by friends - we were not disappointed the area is one of stunning natural beauty and, given it's first class links with the historic city of Malaga, just the ideal destination for couples and families alike really!

El Capistrano itself is simply charming and just so well kept with three fabulous adult pools and two kiddies pools, it's own restaurant, poolside bars and the rather famous 'Cave bar' - it's got the lot.

Pueblo 60 didn't disappoint either, it's a super place, private, clean and well appointed and with it's own gated entrance courtyard complemented by it's walled private garden the property offers total privacy!

Nic and Nancy were charming and extremely approachable which is nice.

Both they and Pueblo 60 come with my highest recommendation for a peaceful, quality holiday experience

Great sunny south-facing and private terrace, and attractive architecture.

The whole complex is beautifully designed, with attractive tiled steps, landscaped gardens, lots of bougainvillea and whitewashed walls. Our villa had a great south-facing terrace with a view of the sea. It was very private and sheltered from the breeze, and ideal for sunbathing even in the depths of winter. Inside, there was a well-equipped kitchen, and typically Spanish-style furniture throughout attractively decorated in blue and white. Nic and Nancy were very helpful and informative, and always available to call if there were any problems. We walked from the villa to Burriana beach, which had good sands and plenty of beachside cafes and restaurants. Nerja is pleasant with a good choice of cafes and restaurants, offering good value meals, and is pretty with narrow winding streets.

a bit dated and damp

the villa has alot of steps whether going down or up,very difficult for my wife who has difficulty with walking,the villa felt damp including bedding also dried blood on pillows

there is no heating apart from a small fireplace and it recieves very little light thro windows not suitable as a winter let.It was however spotlessly clean a part from the pillows.one further problem was that only one bed had linen provided my wife and i sleep separately which was why i chose a two bedroom villa otherwise i would have saved money and taken the 1 bed that was available,did no one think of this?

Owner's Response: The fact that this 'anonymous' man's wife "has difficulty walking" (his words) should surely have been mentioned before booking. If your wife "has difficulty walking", what's the first question you would ask? Our advertisement points out the existence of some steps within Capistrano as well as in Nerja generally - please refer to our advert under 'Facilities' heading and then to the 'Suitability' section where it states 'wheelchair inaccessible' going on to describe the area in some detail. The villa was and is not 'damp feeling' our property is situated here in the very south of Spain - rain is a problem though, we almost don't get any! December was without rain with temperatures constantly in the range 16/18 degrees centigrade ( source: Met Office U.K). I need to turn to the comment regarding "dried blood on the pillows". All of our laundry is laundered through a professional commercial laundry where our bed-linen is carefully processed at 60 degrees using organic 'spotters' for any stains or marks. The laundry inspect the linen as does our cleaning manager-would she make up a bed with 'blood stained pillows'? Let me tell you, no she would not! the Home Away group is extremely precise and, for our properties, generates a 'Confirmation of Booking' document emailed directly to the client. There, details of guests including sleeping arrangements are fully confirmed. This persons 'Confirmation of Booking' was sent to him (April 2016) and states 'two adults sharing' for the master bedroom. Furthermore, a full packaged set of linen for both of the second bedroom's single beds was and is always left in separate packs in the bedroom. The reason for this is quite simple - frequently couples book the two bedroomed villa because they may or may not have friends or family visiting them for a couple of days during their stay ; nothing unusual in that! This gentleman states that he would have booked the one-bedroomed property to save money and that this is why we should have known he needed one of the single beds for his use. During the month of December the difference in price between our one and two bedroomed villas is only £2.85p a day also, linen was there so why didn't he use it? We have written to him asking why he never ever contacted us with his complaints either before or since, we would have reacted immediately! Please view this 'review' alongside our other 30 totally positive reviews which we hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year Hol's!

We arrived actually on New Years day never having been to Nerja before. We had heard about the place and had been recommended to El Capistrano Village in particular. It's great, i mean Capistrano is just so pretty as is the rest of Nerja.

The villa was no disappointment either. We found it to be spotlessly clean and well equipped. It has a lovely garden and terrace with views down to the sea.

The owners were away in England when we arrived but had had the fore-thought to make sure their cleaner, Lesley, came by to greet us and help us get our bearings. Actually, after a few days the owners, Nic and Nancy, returned to Spain. They were kind enough to arrange to meet us. They were great really, not over bearing just totally helpful with lots of recommendations for us - they certainly knew lots of great places, bars, restaurants etc., to visit.

We recommend this place and intend to return later this year!

Great holiday,Great location!!!

The apartment had everything we needed and is in the perfect location for all the amenities of Nerja,Bars,Restaurants,Beaches etc.

The development itself is attractive clean and charming and i would recommend it to anyone.

We will be back!!

Just love Spain!

Great place for a family holiday, lovely clean well looked-after pools, poolside bar was fun!

Our two lads spent all day (almost) in the pool and it's only a few seconds away from the villa.

The villa, Pueblo number 60, is a charming, rustic property clean and well equipped we found, with a really pretty and secluded garden - great for eating out in, quite and peaceful.

Evenings are good- two hotelsides just across the road with live music for all most evenings.

Actually, in Capistrano Village, there is both a full restaurant and the well known 'Cave Bar' where the serve less formal bistro-type food (daily specials board outside and a good 'happy hour').

The beach is directly below Capistrano, there you will find just about every kind and nationality of bars and restaurant - really good.

We recommend this villa and Nerja in general

'El Capistrano Village'is ideally situated for the town centre and the sea. 'Burriana', Nerja's largest and most cosmopolitan blue-flag beach is directly below. Here you will find every amenity you want to make your holiday experience memorable. Every kind of bar and restaurants line the beach where beach restaurants barbeque fresh meats, fish, shellfish and vegetables all day and late into the evening. Try one of their giant paellas cooked over an open fire!

The 'Balcon de Europa',situated in the coastal heart of Nerja, is nearby. The whole area comes alive during the evening where (in summer months) the many restaurants spill out onto the streets when the area becomes traffic-free.

Within walking distance from El Capistrano you will find the internationally recognised 'Caves of Nerja', a must see attraction.

A short bus ride into the hills (10 minutes ride) is the white village of Frigiliana. Known as the 'village of three cultures' (Christian, Moorish & Jewish), take a camera !

Other Activities: Walking (beach and mountain), off-road biking, quad biking and cycling, horseriding, snorkeling, jet-skiing and diving are all readily available local

Golf: A very short drive away in the town of Velez Malaga is the 'Baviera' Golf Course (close to the famous 'El Ingenio' shopping centre so, a big day out there if you fancy it! 'Baviera' is a full 18 hole course, well respected and competatively priced but, be aware, you will need your handicap documentation.

The course is well tended and professionally run with a club-house which offers guest players and members alike every amenity.

A fully recognised professional, motorised buggies, trollly carts and caddies - all there for your use.

Ski: The well known Sierra Nevada slopes are but 2 hours drive away (no more) or, early some days (you would need to just check for full details) there is a bus from Nerja to the slopes inland with a reasonable and useable return-time bus.

Basically, the bus runs in order to provide the facility for a days skiing for people from the Nerja area and so, it's designed and timed for you!

The SIerra Nevada slopes are well and professionally run with options to suit every ability level. There are bars, restaurants, shops and all ski-lift facilities up there to ensure a faultless day of real fun!
