When it comes down to it, you deserve your own private space. Space to relax in your own lounge, on your private, sunny walled terrace where your children can play safely or, a short stroll to any of our three landscaped pool complexes - private to owners and their guests!

Check out our two superb, secluded, semi-detached villas within this development of individually designed, charming, privately owned properties. Situated just above 'Burriana', Nerja's largest and most cosmopolitan blue-flag beach, our holiday homes are ideally situated for the sea and the town centre. On-site bars including the famous 'Cave Bar',A good on-site restaurant (with an extensive variety of other casual and fine-dining restaurants just a stroll away), three large, sparkling pools with safe and separate kiddies pools,free internet (WLAN) is available with 'hot-spots' both on-site and in any number of other local locations.

WIFI on a pay-as-you-go basis can also be provided in the property - please be sure to ask for details prior to booking.

Coast/Beach: Nerja and the surrounding area offer any number of beautiful beaches. There are separate beaches designated for naturists.

The stunningly beautiful town of Nerja itself has grown over the years from a small coastal fishing village into the smart resort it now is. Nerja's development has been very carefully overseen in order to keep it special.

Nerja with it's nine beaches is without the high rise skyline so very typical of the resorts further west. From the whitewashed narrow streets of the old quarter with it's tapas bars and front door fruit and vegetable stalls to modern hotels and high street brand name shops and a diverse choice of quality restaurants. Nerja embraces the very best of old and modern Spain.

The flavour of Nerja is that of a sophisticated holiday town aimed at discerning travellers who want quality , choice and the unique experience of the real Spain.

As with any Spanish town, Nerja is really 'child-friendly'.

Skiing: Nerja is only one to one and a half hours by car away from the skiing resort of Sierra Nevada. There you will find everything you could ever want for skiing whatever your level of competance! A bus service to the ski slopes including the facility to hire equipment at discounted prices is organised in the season on a weekly basis by the town of Nerja.

Golf, Walking and more: There are numerous golf courses in the immediate vicinity but, be aware that some courses may ask for details of your playing handicap if you are to use the course.

Generally, the area is one of outstanding natural beauty with rolling hills against a backdrop of impressive mountains all around. Nerja is surrounded by the 'National Park of the Sierra Almijara and Axarquia'. Within easy walking distance are just so many picturesque well-documented walks suitable for walkers at all levels from the beginner to the most experienced. There are also any number of guided walks on offer or, why not consider an 'Adventure day out' - this involves 4x4 off-road driving coupled with walks led by an experienced guide (pic-nic lunch included), we have all the details you need.

Off-road biking, conducted 'Mountain biking in the Axarquia', quad biking (helmets etc., provided) along with cycling, horse riding, snorkeling, jet-skiing and diving (PADI) , all readily available locally - your choice!

Last, but by no means least, don't forget the famous tourist attraction which is the 'Caves of Nerja' - this the second most popular tourist attraction in all of Spain and really is a 'must-do attraction' !

The bright spacious accommodation features one particularly large double/treble bedroom (King-sized bed), separated from a substantial bathroom, having WC, bath, shower, bidet.

The inner hall leads on to a good sized living room with a feature open fireplace, easy furniture and dining area.

DVD, Digital flat-screen T.V with 100+ channels featuring amongst others, BBC 1, 2, 3, 4. ITV 1, 2, 3, 4. Channel 4. Channel, 5. Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4. Sky Movies. History channel. National Geographic. Gold etc., etc.,

Our American style kitchen includes a full oven with hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, all cooking utensils and crockery.

The property is complete with towels, linen (changed weekly), electrical fans, hairdryer, steam iron etc., maid service is provided between lets.

There is a totally private walled garden with quiet shaded terrace, patio table and chairs, sun loungers, ( patio doors open to the garden from the lounge). The garden is south-facing enjoying day-long sunshine

Perfect Holidays!

Like many other people we were looking to holiday in Greece - because of their problems we decided to go to Nerja instead. Thank goodness we did, it's a beautiful place. Clean, very cosmopolitan and just so friendly. The scenery is simply stunning blue seas and spotless beaches all with a spectacular backdrop of fantastic mountains. El Capistrano itself must be the best place to stay in Nerja. Beautifully landscaped with three very large pools. We have a four year old son and so to find they also have two safe 'kiddies' pools was a real bonus - he was happy and safe there.

The accommodation was no disappointment either. Clean and bright with every amenity the villa sits in a convenient yet quiet location and, being all on one level with a totally private walled garden our little one could have the run of all of the property safely.

The owners, Nick and Nancy, were great and really did give us good customer service - helpful yet discreet, can't fault it!

Great holiday

Back for the third holiday in this great place. Nerja is a really unique place - very Spanish and really friendly. Great restaurants of every kind, well kept beaches - what more could you want really?

The accommodation was, as usual, spotlessly clean, private and secure. Within El Capistrano Village you have all you need three huge pools and two separate and safe 'kiddies' pools, two restaurants, two bars, even an on-site shop which stocks many UK products alongside more local produce.

There is now a bus service which runs to' Burriana' (Nerja's main beach) here you will find just so many bars and restaurants of every kind plus the string of beach 'Merenderos' where they barbeque all day and well into the later evening.

December Sunshine!

As a quick pre-christmas 'getaway' we decided to return to this property, we were last there last May.

I work in the 'leisure' industry and know the area well.

As with our previous visit the property was professionally prepared, spotlessly clean and bright well equipped, with all the facilities you will need.

I totally recommend Nerja - there really is something charming and different about the town, the area around it and, definitely, El Capistrano Village itself which is just delightful.

We'll be returning soon especially if the British winter starts to drag!

Great Place for a sunny holiday

The property was exactly as it was described but even better! Spotlessly clean with every amenity (the Kingsized bed is a great touch!)

It has a nice private garden which, i have to say, is a real sun-trap. It's quiet yet centrally located for all the many amenities that Capistrano has to offer.

Nerja is really nice and very 'Spanish' with quaint winding streets and, it almost seems, a fountain around every corner! The bars and restaurants both in and all around Nerja are really good, there's every kind of 'eatery' from fine dining to relaxed casual local restaurants and traditional 'tapas' bars - all at very reasonable prices indeed!

We recommend this property to anyone from couples to families - here you can do as much or as little as you want in a quality holiday environment!

Just what we wanted!

How refreshing! The property was exactly as it was described by the owners and by most other guests who have stayed there and gone on to write comments.

It was certainly totally clean, tidy and unusually spacious.

It has a cute walled garden which really is a sun-trap bordered with Andalucian flowers - a great place to eat breakfast in the morning and to simply sit and relax in the early evening (we were there in early January and the days are, of course, shorter then).

An advantage is that the owner lives fairly nearby and really does show an interest in helping to make your holiday special - anyway, that's what we found and were happy for it.

On-site there are three beautifully kept pools with extensive terraces and two pool-side bars.

Directly below El Capistrano Village is 'Burriana' Beach - here you will honestly be spoilt for choice, there is every kind of bar and restaurant there. mind you, there are two restaurants on site within a minutes walk as well as quite a few more, again, everso close by. All those we tried were good and reasonably priced.

All in all a super little villa in a super complex - it comes with our recommendation anyway, we intend to return this summer and, knowing just how nice the area is now - that takes away all the worry!

Hastle free holiday

Right from our first contact Nick and Nancy made my holiday relaxing and hastle free!

The taxi nick organised was waiting exactly where he said it would be, the driver holding up a board with our names printed on it. She (it was a lady) whisked us away and took us directly to the villa, even carried our cases to the property where Nancy was waiting to greet us. She showed us around making sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Capistrano is lovely with lots of flowers and charming traffic-free walkways - it really is 'picture postcard' stuff!

The villa itself is light and airy and, above all, spotlessly clean with traditional rustic furniture and a bonus - a comfortable Kingsized bed (the usual spanish beds are small and fairly basic - my husband often has problems because he's quite tall and they are never long enough - with this one his feet didn't hang over the bottom of the bed!)

The garden is a sun-trap, it faces south towards the sea and is beautifully calm all day - ideal for sunbathing.

There is a lot happening close to the villa, just a stroll away are a choice of five restaurants. We didn't try them all but i can recommend the restaurant on-site, the food is good and the prices very reasonable too.

Just across the road are two quality, privately owned hotels with lovely terraces and their own gardens. Here they have live music most nights and also a Happy-Hour so you don't have to go far for entertainment in the evenings!

The centre of Nerja is within easy walking distance. Here you will find about every kind of bar, tapas bars, restaurants both casual and fine dining, it really is a beautiful and typically Spanish town - basically both unspoilt and quaint!

We certainly intend returning to this villa - very reasonably priced and carefully run - thanks!

'El Capistrano Village'is ideally situated for the town centre and the sea. 'Burriana', Nerja's largest and most cosmopolitan blue-flag beach is directly below. Here you will find every amenity you want to make your holiday experience memorable. Every kind of bar and restaurants line the beach where beach restaurants barbeque fresh meats, fish, shellfish and vegetables all day and late into the evening. Try one of their giant paellas cooked over an open fire!

The 'Balcon de Europa',situated in the coastal heart of Nerja, is nearby. The whole area comes alive during the evening where (in summer months) the many restaurants spill out onto the streets when the area becomes traffic-free.

Within walking distance from El Capistrano you will find the internationally recognised 'Caves of Nerja', a must see attraction.

A short bus ride into the hills (10 minutes ride) is the white village of Frigiliana. Known as the 'village of three cultures' (Christian, Moorish & Jewish), take a camera !

Other Activities: Walking (beach and mountain), off-road biking, quad biking and cycling, horseriding, snorkeling, jet-skiing and diving are all readily available local

Golf: A very short drive away in the town of Velez Malaga is the 'Baviera' Golf Course (close to the famous 'El Ingenio' shopping centre so, a big day out there if you fancy it! 'Baviera' is a full 18 hole course, well respected and competatively priced but, be aware, you will need your handicap documentation.

The course is well tended and professionally run with a club-house which offers guest players and members alike every amenity.

A fully recognised professional, motorised buggies, trollly carts and caddies - all there for your use.

Ski: The well known Sierra Nevada slopes are but 2 hours drive away (no more) or, early some days (you would need to just check for full details) there is a bus from Nerja to the slopes inland with a reasonable and useable return-time bus.

Basically, the bus runs in order to provide the facility for a days skiing for people from the Nerja area and so, it's designed and timed for you!

The SIerra Nevada slopes are well and professionally run with options to suit every ability level. There are bars, restaurants, shops and all ski-lift facilities up there to ensure a faultless day of real fun!
