House was built as a family home but because of a change in work location we now use it as a holiday home
The Owner purchased this house in 2003
Our family was delighted to spend four days at this Roundstone home. The views outside the front door would take your breath away.
The home was very clean and had plenty of room for the nine of us. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and spacious.
Town was a short walk and there were good restaurants, grocery store and pubs. You definitely will enjoy the beauty of the Irish countryside.
Loved our stay in Roundstone-hope to get back someday and would surely rent this home again!
We had a great stay in this wonderful house. The house is really big, which was important, as we were a party of 9. The living/dining room is very spacious, and there are various corners and rooms where people can sit down, read something or have a relaxed chat.
The house is really near to the Roundstone village, which is very charming (and which has very good restaurants!).
The organization and contact with Helen were very easy, very helpful.
This has been a great stay!
A great week in Helen & Conor's property in Roundstone, our family of ten, 6 adults and 2 young children, one 11yrs and one 13 yrs felt so comfortable, it had everything you would need including a washing machine and dryer, essential with children, I also liked that everything was included in the price. We did not need the fires etc as the weather was just fantastic. Roundstone had everything you needed, restaurants, shops, beautiful beaches, pubs etc and I must recommend the Shamrock Bar, great food, lovely staff, and a good evening. The butchers was closed when we arrived on the Sunday and they led me through the house to the shop and I bought my meat, bread and tart. Helens brother Dennis supplied the delicious lobster. One of the group left a dressing gown behind and Helen kindly posted it and would not accept payment. Really great time, meet some lovely locals in Roundstone and we will definitely be back. Thankyou Helen.
My family and I loved everything about this house. It was cozy and inviting from the moment we walked in. It's location was perfect for walking into Roundstone for dinner or a pint (bring a flashlight if walking at night), and the view from the front windows is stunning. We can't wait to return and stay even longer in this beautiful part of the country.
The picture makes this house look kind of small but the moment you walk in the front door you realize the house is very spacious. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect place for my family and I to relax, spread out and explore. The village of Roundstone is very charming and a short walk away. The nearby beaches are spectacular, especially if you are lucky to catch a sunny day with little wind, we did, and it was heaven. My husband spent several days fishing nearby and caught a record sized Atlantic salmon! Don't think twice about renting this home, it really is pretty close to perfect.
We has a wonderful Easter holiday staying in this bright big and spacious home. We were there with our two daughters, their husbands and children. The kitchen is so well equipped with everything you would need. The large dining area was ideal for our home cooked meals and there is plenty of seating areas as well. The whole house is spotless. Helen
met us on arrival to welcome us and tell us about the area. Roundstone is just a few minutes walk where there are many restaurants and pubs. The scenery around Roundstone is absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to have had beautiful weather, which made it even more spectacular. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return next year.
