Why Marty Pautz chose Lake Oconee

Before buying this home, we looked at a lot of other houses. As soon as we opened the door, we knew that this was the one.

The doorway revealed a very spacious and comfortable Great Room. On the other side of the Great Room was a beautiful view of the lake,

Walking through and sitting on the deck gave a feeling of serenity. The lake view was unobstructed and peaceful. The wooded lot is a magnet for Georgia song birds. There is nothing that can beat the feeling of sitting and relaxing on the deck.

We have never been sorry that we bought this home.

Cozy, comfortable lake house!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home for our family this past Memorial Day weekend and had a really good experience. The house felt comfortable and clean, while the kitchen was equipped and stocked with everything we needed. We loved sitting on the oversized deck & drinking morning coffee and the flat walk down to the dock. There was a place to tie up our boat and the cove was quiet but still provided awesome lake views! This house has a great location on the lake with a few options for places to eat on the water: less than 5 minute boat ride to Gabby's at The Ritz and we also tried a new restaurant a little further north called the Boathouse. We would definitely come back! Thank you for a great weekend!

Great Place for Family Time

  • 4 of 5

This home lived up to all of our expectations with a beautiful lake view from every room, an amazing, large deck with Adirondack chairs and a table with umbrella for lakeside meals, bedrooms and baths located on opposite sides of the home to give guests privacy, a well-appointed kitchen, and a large great room that served us well when a rain shower sent us inside. The owner, Marty, could not have been kinder or more efficient in our dealings with him. It's not the fanciest of places but very clean, well-equipped, and perfect for some family time on the lake. We plan to return!

The lake house was absolutely beautiful and just what we needed for a weekend of relaxation!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at this house twice now - once in the summer and once in the spring. Both occasions were spectacular. We were equipped with everything we needed and were not far from boat rentals and other sites. The cove that this house is located in is extremely peaceful and great for swimming, floating, or hanging out on the dock. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. I will continue to rent & highly recommend to others.
