Fabulous house! We had a great time. Thank you for thinking of us and providing everything we could need. We tried to take advantage of as much as we could of your beautiful area. Hiking, whitewater rafting, scenic drive to Cherokee, NC. Ate at Trail Head Restaurant twice, great food nice people.

Hopefully we will be visiting again and will try to come in a different season to enjoy another fantastic view.

Thanks again for sharing your beautiful cabin on your beautiful mountain.

Great Property, Easy Rental, Wonderful Owners!!

  • 5 of 5

We have come back to Valley View Hideaway for four straight years now, and a few before. The property is always clean, well-stocked with a few essentials to get our vacation started, and the owners and manager are super easy to work with. Our family considers this beautiful cabin our "home away from home." The "quiet" side of the mountain has everything for a relaxing, peaceful vacation away from the hustle and bustle! The fishing is excellent, tubing is really easy to access, and the availability to grocery items and restaurants is wonderful. We can't wait until next summer!!!

Wonderful house with fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

My family had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at this house. The photos accurately depict the house .The house was spotless and the kitchen had every utensil needed. The views are amazing ! The caretaker contacted us before our arrival , and this proved to be so very helpful because we lost power in a storm and the caretaker contacted the utility company for us and checked to see if we needed any additional assistance. This house is close to the Cades coves area and near many hiking trails. We would definitely rent this house again the next time we visit the Smokey's.

Beautiful cabin and property!

  • 4 of 5

Such a beautiful and restful place. The view was impeccable, the amenities were perfect. I would've given it 5 stars but the fireplace in the loft and porch wouldn't work or at least we could'nt get them to lol! We used the one in the living area for ambiance mainly because the weather wasn't too cold so it really wasn't a big deal. We played games and just enjoyed each other's company. Fun memories made. Would definitely love to stay here again. The beds were sooo comfy and props to the decorators. Well done!

Beautiful and spacious cabin with privacy.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. We loved the open floor plan and all the windows opening up to an excellent view of the Smoky Mountains. We also loved the privacy of feeling we were the only ones around yet having the security of gated access and others down the way. We were here for a long weekend and enjoyed the peace and quiet of Townsend. We rode bikes on the Townsend trail one day and the next day we hiked part of the Applachian trail. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked one evening. We enjoyed eating one evening at Elvira's in Wears Valley and it was so good that we also ate breakfast there when we headed out. We enjoyed talking to Elvira. We also enjoyed getting to know some of the townfolk including Gene Webb the award winning wood carver and a lady at Old but Not Forgotten where we rented bikes. We always love coming to the mountains and we are already ready to go back. When we do, we will definitely try to rent this cabin. The Cotters
