Our home has been fully renovated to provide luxury finishes while preserving the character and history of this classic New Orleans style home. The house features 3 bedrooms (2 master suites and 1 queen room). Both Master suites are equipped with flat screen televisions. The home features 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bath/powder room, Large side porch and backyard, fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, dining room and spacious living room to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We understand there are many choices of hospitality in New Orleans and have equipped the house with luxuries to compete with any hotel. Features include: luxury bedding, down and down alternative luxury pillows, french terry towels, brand new appliances, cookware, dinnerware and server ware. We truly want to provide a perfect environment to relax and recharge while enjoying all that New Orleans has to offer. Wifi and upgraded cable included in stay. The location of our home is perfect to enjoy all areas of New Orleans. You are steps from Frenchman restaurants, art market, music and galleries on Royal. 5 minutes to Jackson Square or Bourbon. We share a block with Horn's Restaurant which is routinely named a top brunch pick in New Orleans. It is open breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner 7 days a week for easy take out or excellent dine in option. Our block also has a great convenience market with groceries, wine, beer and other must have items to stock the house. Too many perks to describe, come visit!

About John and Stephanie

As a couple we enjoy traveling. Our great passions include food and music. No city embodies both more than New Orleans. We have both been coming to this city for many years and just recently purchased a second home here. We treat this like our home and have equipped it to rival the luxurious experience of any hotel in New Orleans. We provide a book to access and operate everything int he house as well as a list of our recommendations for local eats, libations and music in the neighborhood.

Perfect for wedding weekend

I cannot say enough about this house. I stayed here with a few of my bridesmaids on my wedding weekend and we were all blown away. Great location, close enough to all the action, but far enough away to enjoy some quiet. We loved Chuck, the next door neighbor! He made us feel like we were old neighbors, chatting it up from his front porch. Horn’s, right across the street had delicious lunch! Fried oyster poboy is 👌🏻. We used the gorgeous, historic home as the backdrop for our “getting-ready” photos the morning of the wedding and it added the perfect New Orleans touch! Do yourself a favor, stay at John and Stephanie’s and you will feel like a local in the big easy!

Beautiful place, great location!

I could not recommend this place enough. We stayed here the week leading up to our wedding and it was absolutely perfect! I don't know how I will be able to stay anywhere else next time I visit! We walked across the street to Horn's almost every day for breakfast and we were a short walk to all of our favorite places on Frenchmen Street. The house was breathtakingly beautiful, and we all already miss the comfortable beds. We will definitely be recommending this stay and returning ourselves!

Charming jewel of a find!

This home was absolutely perfect in every way. As you pull up to unload in front of this Nawlins style home you receive your first surprise. Free parking!! That’s a big deal in this city. You unload and are greeted by the friendly next door neighbor. It took 10 minutes for my husband to finish the “welcome” greeting. You enter a gate code to walk to the large side porch and enter another code to enter this precious home. The neighborhood feels safe but you are close enough to the Quarters and in a large city to appreciate the security. Upon entering you feel like you’re home. Only with perfectly appointed surroundings and no clutter! Better than home. The design is open and visually appealing to both families or adult occupants. Two bedrooms have king size bed and large bathroom. The third has a queen bed and equally beautiful. You can walk to the French Quarters or Uber over in just a minutes. If you don’t want to go anywhere, Horns restaurant is a great place for breakfast or lunch and is just across the street!! Do I think this is a jewel of a find? Yes!! Well’ll be back on our next visit to New Orleans.

Perfect In Every Way!

We had a girls weekend here for my mother's 75th birthday and the annual St. Joan parade. The house is beautiful and comfortable, walking distance to the quarter and well appointed with everything you could need. I absolutely recommend John & Stephanie's place & hope to return soon!

Our property is located in the heart of what we believe is the best part of New Orleans. Just steps from great live music, excellent food, galleries, antique stores, parks and world famous Bourbon Street. From the great restaurant (Horn's) just down the block, to Frenchman Street with the live jazz, art markets and restaurants, to the quiet neighborhood where the house is located, you seriously cannot find a better place to experience all that New Orleans has to offer.
