We have stayed at the High St cottage twice now during the fall. Couldn't ask for a better location for the hiking that we like to do on the trail system around town. It is an easy walk to dining and shopping for those (like my husband) who are physically fit. I preferred to drive the car down because I usually had packages to bring back from the great shopping. The house itself is located on a nice, quiet residential street just the right amount of distance from the Main St activity. The home has always been very clean and well maintained. It is stocked with everything necessary for a stay. Our grandson loved the toys on the shelves. The decor is cozy and charming and we enjoyed relaxing on the peaceful back patio. We have stayed at other rentals in Breckenridge, but this one will always be our first choice.

Fabulous Location

We have stayed at High Street Cottage for several years. It is a wonderful location with great views of the mountains and close to downtown Breck. The cottage is warm and cozy with a spacious kitchen and a very open feel for entertaining family and guests. Property Mgr Fonda and JT are so easy to work with and respond promptly to all questions and issues. Thanks for everything. Skiing and snow were great. We will be back in 2018.

Truly a home away from home!

We stayed at the High Street Cottage over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a perfect place to spend time with family. The entire house is comfortable and the kitchen was spacious enough for us to cook the big meal together. The location is unbelievable! Walking distance to downtown Breckenridge, and ski lifts and the gondola. In addition, there are endless hiking paths available right from the neighborhood. If you bring a dog the local dog park is just two blocks away.

It was truly a perfect spot and made our vacation wonderful.

Lovely, comfortable stay

Our stay at High Street Cottage was lovely. It is very well situated in the town with an easy walking distance to Main St. It was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The beds were good, which is a major plus. It has a cute little patio out back that is private and great if you have small/medium pets. They can explore or just sit out back and enjoy the fresh air. Everything was clean and up-to-date. It was quiet and private. The property owner was most helpful and responsive when setting up the rental. I would most certainly recommend this rental and will definitely be keeping it in mind for our next vacation.

We have stayed here two years in a row pre-Christmas . Property was very clean , every thing worked. Owner very helpful and accommodating. Great location to walk to bars and restaurants , skiing, shopping. Best of all we could bring our dogs!!!

Another Fabulous Thanksgiving Vacation

This is the second time in the past three years we have stayed at the cottage over Thanksgiving weekend. We have fallen in love with the location, the amenities, the coziness of the cottage and the friendliness and cooperative attitude of the owners. And what a great view of the slopes from the large picture window in the living room. Once parked, we never moved our car. We walked to the slopes, the shopping district and restaurants. One note to Fonda: We folks from NC like our sweet tea with meals. Couldn't find a pitcher in the kitchen (or anywhere else in Breck!!). Thanks again for your hospitality. We shall return.
