These luxurious flats are located in an elegant Georgian townhouse, less than a 5 minute walk from central Princes Street and provide a very high standard of accommodation.
The first floor unit (up one flight of stairs), apartment 2, is bi-annually inspected by the Scottish Tourist Board and awarded 5 stars - a world class grading. The flat is superbly equipped with a 43' plasma screen TV and an integrated sound system supplying music to every room in the flat. The 3 large windows overlook the delightful private Queen Street gardens for which a key is provided. This elegant room benefits from a remote controlled gas coal-effect fire and the two large sofas convert into beds should guests be staying over. The modern kitchen has granite worktops and is fully equipped with a Miele washer/dryer, Siemens dishwasher, two Siemens ovens - one with microwave - fridge freezer, waste disposal unit and wall-mounted LCD TV. There is a 3 ring electric induction hob and a large gas ring to choose from. The luxury shower has a ceiling 'drench' head and 4 body jets. The bedroom, situated to the quiet rear of the property, has a fantastic antique 4 poster bed, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. Clock radio, hair dryer, iron and ironing board are provided as is free Wi-Fi.
The ground floor apartment (no 1) has a similarly impressive living room but has the added feature of an early 19th century wall mural. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The stylish bedroom faces the quiet rear of the building. Please note that the shower room is accessed from the bedroom.
The apartment overlooks the private Queen Street Gardens for which a key is provided. This is a peaceful haven in the middle of the city centre with manicured lawns, mature trees and an array of beautiful flowers and shrubs. There is small lake with an island in the gardens which is reputed to have given Robert Louis Stevenson (who lived on the other side of the gardens when he was a boy) the idea for his book 'Treasure Island'.

Old School Perfection in the New Town
We traveled from the United States with a husband, wife, and twin seven year old daughters. We stayed in the first floor (by European reckoning; 2nd floor for US) apartment. The place is absolutely stunning and beautifully appointed. The drawing room was comfortable and spacious, with high windows that poured in lots of natural light. The bedroom's four-poster bed was roughly American queen sized and very comfortable. The drawing room has two pull-out sofa beds. Kitchen had all manner of sleek appliances including a brand new Miele washer-dryer, one of the few we've come across that delivers an American-style dry and comes pre-loaded with detergent. Shower had top and side nozzles and plenty of hot water pressure.
Francois greeted us on our arrival and gave us a detailed introduction to the apartment, recommended local shops and restaurants, and some general overview of the area. He was gracious and made us feel very welcome. And the key to the private Queen Street Garden gave a lovely oasis of green space where our girls could run around a bit.
The prime location made it a 10 minute walk from Waverley Station and a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and sights of the Old and New Towns. In short, it was an ideal, stunning home base for our Edinburgh explorations. We were sad to leave it, and look forward to coming back!

Perfect place to stay
Rarely do you find a place without something being an issue, but this place was faultless and perfect to stay. Quiet, close to everything, and spacious.
Wonderful flat, centrally located in the heart of Edinburgh
We spent a week in Edinburgh and this flat was the ideal home away from home! All the amenities one could need and plenty of space to unwind at the end of a busy day. Beautiful park view and convenient to reaching all parts of the city. Wonderful restaurants and shops just around the corner. We'd definitely look to stay here on our next trip to Edinburgh.
Beautiful apartment in a convenient location
Very comfortable stay for our party of three. My 14 year old daughter slept comfortably on the sofa bed in the living room. It’s on a busy street, but the shutters block the road noise. Queen Street Gardens were lovely. Overall, a splendid place to stay while visiting Edinburgh.
What a wonderful place!
Property was ideally placed. Not to far from the action (2 blocks), but far enough for some peace and quiet. Francois was definitely one of the best hosts we have ever had as he came by the flat to make sure all was good and helped us with a need later on going above and beyond. The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and well maintained. This would’ve number one on my list for a return trip!

This flat is located on central Queen Street in Edinburgh's historic New Town just a 3 minute walk from Princes Street. This is right in the city centre so all the city's main attractions, bars and restaurants are right on your doorstep.

We are also contactable during your stay should you have any queries (we live a few doors along so we are always handy). All these services (including the cleaning at the end of your stay) are included in the rental rate.
