Location of the appartment is good.
Spectacular view of the sea
Kitchen is not new, but very functional.
Meet and greet was very good, very helpfull with every thing.
The small town of capo mulini has a lot of fish restaurants, This means that a lot of People visit the town every Night, and there Can be a little noise from the restaurants
Also the appartment is situated directly above a fish restaurant, the fumes from food preparation Can be a little bothersome
All in all we where happy to be there.
The apartment itself is not a 5 star apartment, but the amazing view makes up for it. However the apartment is very clever made; it is brigth, but do not have much direct sunlight on it. It feels airy as it has high ceilings, and it is easy to get the air to flow through the rooms. The front balcony is big enough to have dinner there for 3-4 persons. The back balcony is closed with windows all around, and has sufficient space for storage of luggage etc. Also your own washing machine is located here.
Capo Mulini is charming with a nice "vibe" (e.g. live music on the street at night), but be aware you can hear everything going on on the street in the apartment. Also, there is no shops in Capo Mulini, only restaurants.
The lido is just a short walk away, and it is possible to rent sunbeds there. The pool can get crowded at peak times, but it does not matter, as the sea is even better to swim in; there are several different latter's, supervised by life guards, so you can bath safely from the lava rocks, making it a lot more interesting also for kids. We and our 7 year old daughter loved it, and we normally prefer pools.
We will never forget the beautiful view from "our" apartment in Capo Mulini!
Without a doubt the best thing about staying at this apartment is the incredible view.
Sleeping with the balcony doors open and the sound of the waves below was so relaxing. We stayed out of season so the town was very quiet, even at the weekend and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evening watching the sunset over the sea and with the happy visitors dining out at the restaurant along the front.
It was the perfect size for the two of us and I would recommend it to others and certainly return again.
It was really nice. The seaside, the rocks, the small ships, the fishing restaurants, nice people gave a special feeling to this place. Capo Mulini is a very small village but for staying holiday is really nice. The apartment looks to the street side, so it is full of with life and a little bit noisy. The apartment is comfortable and tidy. Tiziana and her husband were really helpful and kind.

Capo Mulini is a small fishing village halfway Catania and Acireale and close to Mount Etna. Capo Mulini is a tiny village but on its promenade are more then 10 fish restaurants where the locals of the nearby cities come to have a romantic diner on the waterfront. Capo Mulini furthermore consists of a beach, vividly painted boats, a church and remains of a Roman settlement. Near Capo Mulini are the volcano Etna, the baroque town Acireale, the picturesque fishing village Santa Maria La Scala and the city Catania with its beautiful squares, main street Via Etnea and ‘must see’ fish market.
Exploring eastern Sicily: Capo Mulini is an excellent base from which to explore eastern Sicily. The quaint fishing village lies just three kilometres from Acireale, a pretty little city, built on a plateau of lava, that is known for its Baroque churches. Santa Maria la Scala and Aci Trezza are pleasant seaside villages near Capo Mulini.Giardini Naxos, a seaside resort with beautiful sandy beaches, is 35 kilometers from Capo Mulini. Beside it we find Taormina ‘the pearl of the Mediterranean’ and the most exclusive seaside resort in Sicily. Its ancient Greek theater is world famous for its extraordinary panoramic views. Traveling south, one hour’s drive away lies Syracuse.
Exploring volcano Etna: Capo Mulini is also an excellent base from which to explore Mount Etna and its surroundings. The villages of Etna, such as Trecastagni, Zafferana Etnea and Randazzo, are famous for their ancient lava flows, the architecture of their seventeenth century churches, their delicious local produce and the hospitality of the villagers. Situated 700 metres above sea level, they are a favourite retreat of the city dwellers who, in summer are in search of cool, fresh air, while in winter are in search of snow for skiing. Few people are aware that Etna is a popular location for skiers in winter. On some glorious days in winter, it’s even possible to ski the frozen slopes in the morning enjoying a wonderful panoramic view of the Mediterranean, and then, the same afternoon, go and sunbathe on the beaches below!
