Great location and lots of space

  • 5 of 5

Thanks to Alan for his prompt responses to questions and for maintaining a wonderful getaway. We were close enough to Yellowstone and other attractions to easily travel back and forth each day and the cabin amenities were great. A little warning about the highway noise but that was only a minor distraction when compared to all of the benefits of the comfortable cabin and convenient location. I hope the Elk Lake Lodge is available for our next Yellowstone adventure.

Great place to stay !

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 5 nights while visiting Yellowstone National Park and found the location to be great for going into the West Entrance every day. The owner is very responsive to any questions that you have and the cabin has everything you need for a great stay. We had 5 adults and 4 small children and found it really helpful to have multiple sleeping options, a well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and really fun shuffleboard and pool tables. The views are awesome and we loved coming back from the park to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Definitely would consider staying here again if we return to YNP.

Brilliant Location, Awesome house!

  • 5 of 5

At first, I had my doubts if the distance from the park entrance would be a problem, but the house and the location(near the lake) made all the differnce. The house is well maintained, and enough room for a BIGGGG family! Everyone loved the place! Will definitely go back again!

Things that can improve: Maybe a slightly faster internet connection. Slightly better heating options.

Absolutely Amazing

  • 5 of 5

Thanks to Alan our trip turned out to be better than expected. He had so many ideas on things to do and places to see like Mesa Falls and Virginia City. We ended up extending our stay by 2 days. We were a party of 10 on motorcycles. Each day we went on different drives. The animals in the park were a hit. Got in a traffic jam with a herd of bison. Saw tons of elk too. The house was roomy and great for cooking out and relaxing in the downstairs bar room. Everybody said the beds were comfortable. There were some cool furnishings and it was extremely clean. Loved the bar and game room! Had never played shuffle board but I am now the champ. We plan to come again in the winter and bring our sleds!

Elk Lodge wraps you in cozy comfort!

  • 5 of 5

The lodge was so conveniently located near to our destination of Yellowstone National Park! Driving was easy and the views amazing. I felt nestled in majesty and the energy of the surrounding mountain views were spectacular! After our long days at the National Park it was easy to navigate back to the lodge which was well equipted with everything we could possible need! Cozy, comfortable, spacious and clean, Our stay at Elk Lodge was incredible and we will definately be back! It is obvious that our host put many extras into our accommodations and it was well appreciated! My favorite time was morning coffee on the wrap around deck soaking in the view and listening to the surrounding wildlife!
