About David and Pamela Waleri
Pam and Dave Waleri have been owners of 30 plus restaurants, 2 hotels, and a 10 bedroom Inn on Catawba Island on Lake Erie. The Inn on Smith's Hill is their retirement home (although they live in a 37' motor home 26 weeks each year). The hospitality business has been in their blood for over 40 years and the Inn on Smith's Hill is a reflection of the many years of serving the traveling public. Dave spent 9 months restoring the 14 room Victorian farmhouse to it's present glory and Pam's has decorated and furnished it as it might have presented a 100 years ago. The Waleri's, who have been married over 50 years, travel extensively through out the year. Together they ave visited over 40 countries and every state in the US several tines. They have 2 grown sons and their wives and 4 grandchildren in Dallas,Texas and Naples Florida and dozens of close friend all over the country. And they wish you and your party to become friends also.
David and Pamela Waleri purchased this Farmhouse in 2014
Why David and Pamela Waleri chose Lexington
The Waleri's had been looking for a small cottage property to use as a home base for their motor home travels when Pam suggested that another bed and breakfast would be a fun retirement. Within a day, Dave was online searching all over the country looking for a cottage suitable for a small B & B. Instead of a small cottage, he found a 14 room, 7 bedroom farmhouse in disrepair only a few miles from where both were born. The home needed the couples time and resources (that is money). It took 9 months to complete the full remodeling and redecorating. The Inn opened in August of 2015 exceeding the Waleri's initial expectations ( and budget). They are anxious to share their Inn and home with you, their guests .

Nice and easy!
We were at Mid Ohio racing and it was conveniently located. Nice clean accommodations in a quiet neighborhood!
Our 2nd year in a row staying at this magnificent home!
A big "thank you" to Dave and Pamela. This was our 2nd year in a row we spent a week at the Inn on Smith's Hill and really enjoyed it. The owners are great, easy to work with and good people. We really loved it. Thanks again!
Perfect for our Family Christmas
Convenient location, beautiful holiday decorations, comfortable furnishings in all of the rooms. With six adults and four kids under 11, we had plenty of space for everyone! The three boys loved their room upstairs under the eaves, and each room having its own bathroom was perfect.
One minor plumbing issue and the owners were able to get their plumber over on the day after Christmas to promptly deal with it.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we are hoping to book the house again in the future.
Thank you for being our guests. We're happy you enjoyed our house and had a great time together. We look forward to you staying with us in the future.

Beautiful, large, clean home with comfortable amenities and plenty of privacy
We stayed at this beautiful home for a business trip for 5 guys for 3 nights. We flew into Columbus, OH late at night and the lovely owners met us at the house at 10:30 pm to welcome us into their home. The owners were on-site but we didn't even notice that they were there; we only saw them twice the entire stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom, and everyone slept well in the comfortable beds. There was a lovely porch out back with a great view that was perfect for relaxing after working all day. There was plenty of privacy out back, and no close neighbors nearby. We were impressed with the high water pressure in the freshly cleaned showers. The full kitchen made it easy to cook up dinner after work, the fridge was clean and empty so we could easily store our groceries, and there was even a coffee pot provided. We had no complaints during our stay, and would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area! We highly recommend this home for business or pleasure trips, this home has a wonderful history behind it with many famous people from history having stayed in this home. We are so glad we found this home instead of staying in separate hotel rooms that would have made it hard for everyone to keep in touch as easily.
If I said our experience was terrible, I'd be lying. IT WAS GREAT. Dave and Pam were terrific hosts. They really make you feel at home.
The location was perfect for the sporting event we were attending in Lexington.
The home was very comfortable and quiet. Sleeping with 5 bedrooms being occupied by us,
you wouldn't know anyone else was in the house. It was so quiet. The owners made us feel
welcome and offered full use of their home. I can't wait to go back next year.
