Peaceful and Relaxing
My family booked this cottage last minute as the cottage we were suppose to rent ended up being hit by a tornado and our vacation was canceled the morning we were supposed to leave. Host, Jennifer was amazing and let us book with very little notice. Cottage was clean and homey. We absolutely loved our stay and would stay here again in a heart beat! Thank you Jennifer and family!!

An Absolute Gem !
The cottage was wonderful , clean , the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking necessities , beautiful view of the lake , lots of water toys and a firepit . We SO enjoyed our stay, using the canoe , paddle boat and kayaks to explore the lake. We had a fire every day in the pit which is perfectly located near the lake! The cottage interior was cozy and provided such a warm family feel . The owners were very accessible and made sure we were taken care of. We just loved this place ! Definitely want to return! Thanks so much !

A nice comfortable cottage
This is a very cosy spacious cottage, with ample comfortable seating, a very well equipped kitchen, closets in the bedrooms, and a small wood stove that heats up the cottage when needed (and we did need it, we had a few cold rainy days). We made ample use of the excellent fire pit (lots of firewood available for it and the inside wood stove). Lots of Muskoka type chairs outside, both around the fire pit and at the beach. There is no wifi, which takes some getting used to, but is probably a good thing... The water is no good for drinking, so we brought some of,our own, but there were also filled dispensers. We loved the shower and the nice deep tub. My husband who was really looking forward to fishing off the dock, had no luck at all and came to the conclusion there is no fish in the lake . All in all it was a good stay in spite of the cool weather and the lack of fish.

Just Fabulous!
August 2019 What a beautiful spot to spend vacation with family, it truly has something for everyone. The lake is breathtaking, perfect for canoeing and kayaking. The sandy little beach is great for swimming. The cottage is very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Living in the city you really appreciate that gorgeous fresh air and quiet. Definitely want to return next year!
