Located in the Woodbridge development in Clermont, this single storey villa has plenty of space and overlooks a pretty pond.  Tastefully decorated and furnished there are 5 bedrooms, all with TV, and 3 bathrooms. There are two master bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, a double bedded room and two further twin bedded rooms.  A separate family bathroom also serves as a poolside bathroom to minimize wet footprints through the home!

The open plan lounge and dining area is bright and comfortable.  The dining table can seat 6 and there is a separate breakfast table in the kitchen that seats 4.  Comfortable sofas in the lounge, one of which is a sofa bed, provide plenty of relaxing seating and there is a large, wall mounted flatscreen TV and DVD player to help you unwind after a day at the parks.

The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, double sink with disposal unit, small pantry and large American style fridge/freezer with water/ice dispenser.

Outside there is a fully screened in good sized patio area with swimming pool (heating available) and spa, a patio table seating 4 and 2 sun loungers.  There is a double garage as well as off street parking for two further cars.  Free WIFI.  Shops/restaurants are within a 5 minute drive and the Disney attractions are 15 minutes away.

Please note: Pool/Spa heating is available for $35/night. This fee is not reflected in online pricing and must be requested, with a 5 days minimum stay for pool heat on homes with electric pool heaters..

Turtle Pond Pluses and Minuses

House, pool and lake are lovely. However, location was not exactly as represented on the map as I was wanting to stay closer to downtown Clermont. Also, paid extra for pool heater to be turned on early so it will be ready when we got there. Heating the pool and hot tub was a continuous problem throughout our stay. Outside was not too frigid so the pool was doable. However, the hot tub was always luke warm. The kids did not care but kind of a bummer for the parents. I will probably look for a different residence in the future.

Barely adequate

We recently rented this house. Neighbor was good, location fine, nice size. Pond out back was lovely and provided a great view. The rental company was quite responsive, coming to do the repairs that were required (ice machine, hole in lanai, broken corkscrew, etc). The biggest issue with the house is that, aside from being unloved and dated, there are NO supplies provided upon arrival. Not even salt and pepper. Nothing. There were basic kitchen items (and I mean basic), but nothing else. For example, one bowl was provided. We were using pots and pans to serve food, as there was no other options. The management company said that their policy is to remove all items that are left by previous renters, however, in all other houses we have rented, there were always the basics. Even to spend an extra $20 to provide a few spices, a roll of saran wrap, a small bottle of olive oil, more than one dish washing tablet, etc would have made a big difference. Also, something to keep in mind is that if you want a BBQ or the pool heated, it is all extra cost - $67 to rent a very basic BBQ for the week. And it takes 3 days or so (weather dependent) to heat the pool to a decent temp (although no charge for the first 2 days based on this).
