We got off to a bad start. We arrived at 11pm and as soon as we walked in....first thing I saw was a ginormous roach on it's back in the floor. Upon walking through there were dead bugs everywhere. Literally a pile in front of a router in the back bedroom. Upset I called them and they offered to come back in the morning and clean. The next day a lady from the office comes by (not a house cleaner) she grabs a broom and sweeps them up. Kinda expected them to mop but nope. With the state of the floor and me only seeing a swiffer duster I have to wonder if they are mopping or just swiffering the floors. There were no accessible cleaning supplies or I would have mopped myself. The beautiful, expensive appliances you see in the pictures do not get cleaned. There were still crumbs inside and finger prints and grime all over the outside of all the appliance. She wiped down the front a little with a wet nap after we pointed it out but they were not clean by any means. grabbing the handle you could actually feel grime on the handle. We did not buy groceries or cook there at all for that reason AND the bugs. They offered to refund the cleaning amount (I'd rather it had been clean) but I have yet to receive it. The AC is not big enough for this home. On sunny days 75 is going to be the best you get. And that was with me closing the doors to all the bedrooms but one, the back bathroom, and the from extra sitting area. Looking outside its an apartment size unit. I may not have been so critical if we had not been cooped up here the whole week due to rain. Being as it was I was there enough to know I didn't enjoy being there at all. There was goop running down the side of the dishwasher. Day two I had a battle with a GIANT roach (Palm of men hand big) that crawled out of a gaping hole in the bathroom they tried to cover with a makeshift cabinet. The couch was dingy and felt dirty. I found a comforter in a closet, washed it and put it over the sofa. Being a pet friendly home, micro-suede is not doing them any favors. get pleather or something. Above the door in the bathroom is CAKED in dust. It's pretty gross looking. A duster would probably handle it quickly. Overall we were not comfortable at all. The people were super nice but at the end of the day I wish someone had reviewed it sooner and I would have gone somewhere else.
