This beautifully appointed and refurbished apartment with air conditioning on the 1st floor (with lift). Previously an old hotel which has been converted into apartments, located in a traffic free cul-de-sac over looking beautiful gardens.   • The bedroom has a king size bed, a large double door wardrobe with 4 additional drawers and 2 sets of 3 drawers giving plenty of storage space. The lounge has a large double leather sofa bed for additional sleep arrangements. Cleaning & Laundry is an additional charge of £75 which is paid to our property management company based in Nice. This is for cleaning the apartment and to launder the towels and bedding based on 2 people using the master bedroom. Towels and bed linen are provided based on 2 people using the master bedroom. If additional bedding and towels are required for more than 2 people or for stays of more than 7 nights this can be arranged at an additional cost. Please let us know if you require additional linen. (£25 per bed per change).

Wonderful apartment in an excellent location

This is a terrific, second-floor apartment in Nice, within five minutes of the train station as well as many nice restaurants, shops, outdoor markets, etc. It is about a 10-12 minute walk to the promenade and the beach. Gary and Suzanne sent us easy-to-follow instructions for getting from the airport to the apartment, and useful information about the area. The first day, we visited one of the neighborhood markets and got everything we needed to make breakfast there in the mornings - eggs, fruit, cheeses, meats. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped. We went out to dinner every night - sometimes down near the promenade and other times, in the restaurants near the apartment. It was very easy to take the train on day trips, such as Monaco. The neighborhood is quiet, and we always felt safe, even late at night. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. We hope to make it back to Nice next year and if so, we hope to stay here again.

Great location. Very convenient "jumping off" spot!

Thanks to Suzanne and Gary for a lovely first time in Nice. The flat is in a beautiful old classic building but has obviously been updated to today's standards. Thanks for the lovely bottle of wine that welcomed us, very much appreciated after a long drive from Milan! Short walk to the trains which we used to day trip to all the surrounding beach towns. Ended up at the Monaco International Boat Show on my husband's birthday, he loved it! All sorts of great little markets, shops and markets nearby and we thoroughly enjoyed every day we spent there.

A charming apartment

It was central to train, tram & bus so everything was easily accessible. It's an easy walk to the Promenade and countless restaurants. Bus for 1.50 euros took us to Eze, St Paul de Vence & the Rothschild Villa & Gardens. The apartment met all our expectations: dishwasher, washing machine & large bathroom.

Great location!

Gary and Suzanne were very welcoming and helpful with settling us in. We loved the Location- it was close to everything. The train to explore the Riviera was very close. The Promenade only 10 min walk and Old town about the same. It was quieter than staying in the heavy tourist areas but still felt central. The flat was perfect for 3 of us. I really appreciated the comfortable master bed, as I have a back issue. Would return for another stay for sure. LOVED Nice and the French Riviera.

Very enjoyable stay in a lovely Nice apartment.

Lovely well appointed flat. Large & spacious lounge with kitchen, everything you could need. Super huge shower and such a comfortable bed. Lovely French windows with shutters. The owner was very good at giving us information and very kind and helpful. The apartment was only 10 minutes from the train station where we travelled to Cannes, Monaco, Menton etc. St. Paul de Vence is a must! Bus 400. There are a few cafes where you can have breakfast just round the corner from the apartment. Have already given friends the info on the apartment as it really was very enjoyable and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Our third stay and each time the property appeals to us more.

As a middle aged couple this property works for us just perfectly as a late October "get away" for a burst of warmth and sunshine. It matches the description and with high ceilings, well apportioned kitchen, TV system, extra large shower, comfortable bed (extremely quiet while we were there) and even a "pay as you need" air conditioning unit.

These facilities coupled with its location which is within easy walking distance of the station and main shopping district makes it perfect for a relaxing stay. Yes the "Old Quarters" and Bay des Anglais" are a bit further away but they can be easily walked or why not try, as we do, the Veloblue which is a very convenient way of getting around. The tram system is also within a easy 5 minute stroll.

For us this is way from the "hustle and bustle" of the main tourist areas but yet within easy reach of them and you feel more part of the local community with some excellent eating venues on your door step.

We will definitely be making our fourth visit next year with the owners making the booking, key delivery and return process as simple and efficient as it can be.

The bars and restaurants are located within a 5 min walk on the traffic free Rue de France or 10 mins to the old town. Both areas have excellent bars and restaurants. Around the corner is the tree lined Boulevard Victor Hugo where the Holiday Inn & Malmison hotels are. The property is perfectly situated within a 5 minute walk to the main train station. This allows you to exploring the towns around Nice being Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Menton, Beaulieu, Villefrance or the Friday market in Italy. The tram is a 5 mins walk away and for a 1 euro ticket this can be re-used for bus travel to Monaco, Cannes, Grasse, Vence or Eze. The promenade de anglas and beach are 15 mins walk away where you can sunbath or go swimming. There is a water park near Antibes and the port of Nice has scuba diving and sailing. You can also take a ferry to Corsica or charter a luxury yacht. If you would rather shop there is a shopping mall 5 mins away on Avenue Jean Medecin and all the designer shops you need.

Location - access to the apartment complex is on the lane to the right hand side of the building, there you will find an iron gate with a keypad please enter the code 3147E and push the gate hard as it sometimes jams in hot weather.
