A nice little chalet tucked away in the woods

  • 5 of 5

Such a well maintained chalet with beautiful views close to Whiteface, the W Branch Ausable, and a ton of other spots. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here & would highly recommend this rental!

Perfect,cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

If you like an ole-time-feel cabin in the woods, this is the place. One hour into our stay and the stress of the world dropped away. The front deck and the fire pit got plenty of use. It's perfectly close to all the sights, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace, and quiet of forest life.

All the amenities we needed were here. No AC, but the fans and open windows kept us cool and comfortable.

We loved it! We'll be back again and again!

P.s. Price is incredible!

Tammy, your cabin MADE the 60th celebration perfect!

Great getaway for couple or family

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our two night stay at this cozy chalet in the woods. Very clean and owner was great throughout the whole booking and stay. Good home base for our vacation in Lake Placid. Enjoyed camp fires at night. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Fantastic stay at Little Peak Chalet

  • 5 of 5

We rented the Little Peak Chalet for a long weekend, we were six adults. The Chalet was exactly as shown on pictures and described in the listing. Very nice area, close to Lake Placid, spectacular views and super clean. Kitchen, linens and towels, even games for kids - all were well stocked, we did not miss anything. The booking process was quick and efficient, overall experience was great. We will definitely be back again!

Great location and a perfect get away destination

  • 4 of 5

We wish we had discovered thos gem earlier for ski season. We were in the area for Bike Fest and it was a perfect location. So close to the Whiteface main lodge and start/finish lines. Lake Placid is a quick drive away. Feels like a get away in the woods and the hub bub of Lake Placid is so nearby if desired.

The beds were comfortable. I m 5'5" and my feet were flirting with the edge of the bed. My husband at 6' had to sleep with legs bent.

The rain decided to visit us one night and day while there. I would recommend some board games, cards, a few more books fore entertainment. They do have a TV with cable, but that was not why we choose an A frame in the woods...

Great weekend overall!
