About Kaylee and James
I moved down to San Diego from LA to go to college many years ago and fell in love with the weather. The sunshine, all the amazing restaurants, and the friendly people, make this city very desirable. My boyfriend and I are always available to answer your questions or help guide you through your adventures of San Diego.
Kaylee and James purchased this Condo in 1988
Why Kaylee and James chose Crown Point
This property has such a great location for walking, biking, or rollerblading right out the door and onto miles of sidewalk along the water. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and beaches that can be walked to.

Clean, great location. Would stay again.
Right across from a park and the ocean. Small balcony overlooking it. Can walk to restaurants.
We were very pleased with our stay. Everything is as described. The unit is clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. There is no AC but it really wasn’t needed. There are plenty of floor and ceiling fans. It was very convenient to Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and 20 minutes to La Jolla. The park and bay across the street was a nice view from the patio and living room. It was nice to have toiletries provided, too. Lots of beach gear to borrow. I would definitely recommend this for a family or a trip without kids. We would stay here again.
The property was as described and fit our needs perfectly.
It had everything we needed -- beds were comfortable, staples were well stocked, it was very clean, and a wonderful location.
Nice place. Nice area.
The condo was very comfortable. Pretty much as pictured and described. Quite spacious. Nice view of Mission Bay.
We stayed four nights to spend Christmas with our son, who lives close by. Very nice floor plan with a spacious master suite and large open concept kitchen and living room.
Great patio with a great view of Fanuel Park and the bay. We enjoyed watching all the people and activity going on.
Short walk to Pacific Beach to see the ocean and waves. Short drive to most major attractions. There are several great grocery stores with a very short drive.
Kitchen had everything we needed with the exception of Saran Wrap and Aluminum foil which made saving leftovers a bit of a challenge.
The information booklet didn’t feel very welcoming, mostly explaining what was not allowed, but I get it, you’ve got to enforce the rules.
The directions for arrival could have been a little clearer. You cannot access the unit from upper parking lot or get to garage until you enter unit to retrieve key and remote. But once we got in it was easy to access. Appreciated the two parking spots as street parking can be challenging.
Couch was so cozy, that gets 4 stars by itself!
Would like to come back in the summer to enjoy the beach and bay a little more.
Wonderful Location on Mission Bay
The 2-bedroom condo is in an excellent location, providing immediate access to Fanuel Park and Mission Bay, and easy walk-ability to the Pacific Ocean beachfront in Mission Beach and the shops, restaurants, and groceries on Garnet in Pacific Beach.
The unit is spacious, and a recent remodel provides a stylish well-stocked kitchen, tile flooring, and a very comfortable Master Suite. We loved the memory foam mattress. Great TV and good internet. The second bedroom and bath are not sumptuous, but are certainly adequate for their purpose. The south facing patio feels a little exposed, and was quite hot during midday when it was fully sunny, even in November when we stayed, but in the evenings it was pleasant and comfortable.
Renters should be aware that the proximity to the park and bay means that there are a lot of people and cars coming and going, and the noise that naturally accompanies them. We enjoyed walking on the bay front walks and seeing the variety of people, but it's not a quiet tranquil setting. The gated underground parking was very nice to have. The laundry facility (2 washers and 2 dryers, rather new, shared by the building) was also welcome, but as others have mentioned it can be difficult to get your turn, especially when the maids for other rental units occupy them on weekends.
Overall, we'd gladly return to this rental in future years.
There is a park right out in front with a playground. The bayside beach is directly in front of that. There are a lot of watersports taking place in the bay including, kayaking, paddle boarding, water skiing, and catamarans.
There are many bars and restaurants that are walking distance.
We are close to Sea World, The Zoo, historic Old Town, and the vibrant night life of downtown.
