Surrounded by El Garraf nature park and the vineyards of the Penedès wine region, this 15th-century Catalan farmhouse is a beautiful setting for holidays with friends and family, destination weddings and other special occasions. The villa offers extensive private grounds, a swimming pool, outdoor dining and close proximity to the lovely beaches of Sitges. Further away is the city of Barcelona.
A long driveway lined with cypress trees leads to the villa and its sprawling private grounds. The garden features trees and plants such as olive, eucalyptus, pine, apricot, rose, lavender and rosemary. There is a swimming pool (9 x 4 m), 8 sunbeds, umbrellas, a shaded hammock and a large grass area that is perfect for soccer or other games. At the veranda the long table for up to 22 guests is ideal for breakfast and dining as it is located next to the barbecue area. With views on the garden, the veranda is perfect for summer nights. The main house features a large veranda with two farmhouse tables,
4 armchairs, various stools and tables and an adjacent barbecue area with 2 grills. There is also a second shaded patio with armchairs, stools and tables as well as a treehouse for kids. The villa’s wine cellars store the wine of the neighboring Finca Viladellop winery. There is parking for up to 10 cars. Additional parking can be arranged to accommodate a maximum of 40 cars. On the ground next to the parking area there is a white stone circle where, years ago, they smashed grain leaves to obtain the seeds.

The property has central heating (metered according to consumption) and a pellet heating chimney on the ground floor of the main building. Original thick walls keep the building cool in summertime.
Main Villa: Sleeps 12
Ground Floor: The large wooden entrance door opens onto a grassy patio with stone pathways. From here guests can enter the main house, veranda and cottage. The main building opens onto an entrance hall with a side table and chairs. The living room features a large U-shaped sofa, a plasma-screen satellite TV, DVD player, DVD collection and an iPod dock, plus a second seating area with 2 armchairs, a low table and doors to the veranda. The dining room has a long table for 14 and a wine storage room. There is also a closet with tourist information. The kitchen has a gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, orange juicer, blender, and basics such as coffee, tea, olive oil, vinegar and herbs. There is one bedroom on this floor, a Moroccan-style room with a queen-size bed (160 cm), an elevated sofa with can be used as an extra bed, and bookshelves. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the cottage. The bathroom is located next to the laundry area and has a shower, sink and toilet. This floor also has a storage room and cleaning area, which has ironing supplies, drying racks, detergent, a first-aid kit, as well as a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.
First Floor: The staircase in the entrance hall leads to the first floor. This floor features 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm, can be separated into two singles), a garden view and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The second bedroom has two single beds (90 cm each, can be joined together to form a king-size bed, upon prior request), a patio view and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm), mountain views and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The fourth bedroom has two single beds (90 cm each), a garden view and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The fifth bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm, can be separated into two singles, upon prior request), a garden view, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bidet.
Cottage: Sleeps 2
This is a separate building next to the entrance patio.
Ground Floor: There is a lounge area with couches, and a sleeping area with a king-size bed (180 cm) and garden view. This room uses a shared bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) that is accessed via the patio.
Apartment: Sleeps 4 - 6
This is a separate air conditioned building next to the main building.
Ground Floor: There is a living and dining area with a small sofa (can be used as an extra bed that is comfortable for 1 and cozy for 2) and a dining table for 4. There is a kitchen with a gas stove and kettle. There are two bedrooms: the first has a king-size bed (180 cm), the second has 2 single beds (90 cm each, can be joined together, upon prior request). The rooms share a bathroom.

Once out on the main road, it is a beautiful drive to Sitges (beaches), Barcelona, and surrounding areas.

Saskia van der Krol, Property Manager, was extremely kind, thorough, and helpful.
Great size property with lots of options for a big group.
Size was great and the location was peaceful yet still close to the beach.
The kitchen is very small for a big group and the property really needs air conditioning. It seems it would be a small investment that would add greatly to the comfort as on several days the heat was unbearable, particularly for those with small children.
The beach was easy to get to and great for families.
