Set in the heart of the copuntryside with beautiful walks on its doorstep, is ideally situated as only 10 minutes from SHEFFIELD city centre and boasts many outstanding features including wooden floors, exposed beams and stonework.

Lovely

This place was perfectly equipped for what we needed as a group of 8. Really nice setting. Convenient for us for getting in to Sheffield. Comfy and homely but also stylish at the same time. Thanks very much, it made our weekend perfect!

A perfect break

We have nothing but praise for our stay at this lovely property. As other reviewers have pointed out, the photos do not do it justice!

The house is very clean and everything that you need for day to day living is provided, including a welcome pack of wine and chocolates. We even had some basic food stuff provided in the fridge, which is a thoughtful touch.

The layout of the property is great for a family/group holiday with a lovely open plan dining area and large sitting area.

You really are on the farm, it was lambing season during our stay and we spent many hours watching week old lambs spring around the field.

The owners dogs were a bonus, very friendly and well behaved, the two teenagers in our group were in doggie heaven.

On arrival there was an issue with the central heating, we informed the owners and they quickly got it sorted and then on several occasions checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

The hot tub was well used by us and when the water level went down the owners quickly attended to topping up the water level for us.

We found this a great location to visit the nearby Peak villages and beautiful countryside.

A definite 10 out of 10 from everyone in our group and we hope to visit again soon.

Lovely rural location, perfect for family weekend

Great, rural location. The house was great value and exactly what we were expecting when we booked. Large family areas, cosy bedrooms and comfortable beds. Anita was really helpful and quick to sort any niggles we had. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely relaxed stay

We had a lovely stay, it felt so rural even though it was very close to Sheffield. The house was well equipped and although fitting nine people in was a bit of a squeeze in the bedrooms it was a lovely place to relax in. The children loved being able to use the trampoline and swings and the very friendly dogs were an added bonus too 😊. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Originally part of the Duke of Norfolk estate’ the barn is situated in the small hamlet of Hollow Meadows, just 4 miles from Ladybower Reservoir in the lovely Peak District National Park and the famous Snake Pass, yet only 15mins from Sheffield City Centre. A great location for easy accesss to all areas including Ponds Forge Leisure Centre. But if you want to relax you can snuggle on the sofa and watch a film. Sit at the table and eat a great meal or relax in the hot tub in the open air.

Nearly 700 lime trees line the Rivelin valley, making it the second longest lime tree avenue in Britain. Hollow Meadows holds a scattering of smallholdings, farms and dwellings and is ideal for exploring many bridleways and footpaths. Nearby are the impressive dam at Ladybower, used by the 'Dambuster' squadron to practise for their raid on the Ruhr Dams in 1945, and Hathersage, believed to have inspired Charlotte Bronte to write Jane Eyre. Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, and Sheffield, with its attractions and exciting nightlife, are only a short drive away.

Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose are able to deliver grocery shopping direct to the properties.
