Beautiful, romantic getaway.

  • 5 of 5

The old rustic cabin has been updated with beautiful decorations, a great shower that has both a standard head and a rain head that showers straight down over your head. Antique furniture, with classic porcelain figurines adorn the cabin. Outside is a large patio overlooking the valley below with a fire pit. A short walk to a bluff that gives even more spectacular vistas of the valley below with chairs, and another fire pit. Several waterfalls in the area, with one right next to the cabin. You can hear the water falling a bit from inside the cabin, but of course clearly as you step out the door. It’s absolutely beautiful. You’re alone, as there are no neighbors, yet only minutes to the first town, Tracy, that has a great bakery with sandwiches. The bakery dates back to 1902. An incredible place to stay.

This is an incredible property, Cabin, with even more incredible hosts

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent our 20th year anniversary at Hemlock Falls. Everything about our trip was great except that it went way too fast. This property would be an excellent choice for any person, family or couple. The cabin has so much character and the property could not be located any better. It is located close enough to Chattanooga and Tracy City, but far enough to really get away. The two waterfalls on the property are so different and so beautiful. The hosts truly sum up what I have always heard about southern hospitality, and it is not just for show. They are really great people. You will not regret your time spent here. I have now started to play the lottery just so I can make Jimmy and Lynn an offer they may not be able to refuse :). We will be back to visit again.

Perfect! Beautiful! Can't wait to go back!!

  • 5 of 5

We LOVED Hemlock Falls!!! We were so happy to have discovered this very special place, not far from Chattanooga. The owners are awesome and think of EVERYTHING to make your say perfect. Denny Falls was quite the hike, but so rewarding. It was just beautiful! Our son, loved learning how to make fires and our daughter had fun making a new Lincoln Log cabin everyday. Both kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making s'mores on the fire pit that looks over the bluff while my husband and I enjoyed the views and sunset. The cabin was just perfect with everything we could possibly need and more. Even though our say at Hemlock Falls was almost 4 months ago, we haven't stopped talking about it and can't wait to go back! Just wish we could have eaten at the Mountain Goat, LOL... Just one more reason to go back soon :)

Best vacation cabin that we have been to.

  • 5 of 5

It was amazingly beautiful. The cabin is gorgeous, cozy and extremely clean. We have been to other cabins and hotel rooms and they were always a bit dirty. This cabin is awesome. The owners are excellent. They were so nice and were always caring for us. The bluff and the waterfall were outstanding. It was very peaceful. This would be a great area for meditation if that is what you do. The only thing that we didn't like much is that the cabin was a bit cold. When the temperatures plummeted, the heater would blow in hot followed by cold air. We had the fireplace, heater and portable heater on and it was still a little bit cold. The floors were cold(I wore warm slippers) and we could feel a little bit of a draft from the windows. The owners provide blankets and electric blankets so these may help. I don't discourage you from visiting the cabin just for that. I highly recommend it. You will be in awe.

Owner's Response: Thank you Yenizel. I think some people are more cold natured than others and we also were dealing with record cold temperatures. Lynn
