Absolutely amazing. Lynn and jimmy were such gracious host. The views are incredible and plenty to do locally or a short drive away
My friend and I truly enjoyed the peace and quiet. We sat on the front porch every morning and enjoyed amazing sunsets on the bluff by the firepit each night. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who needs to get away and unplug for a few days.
Jewel on the Bluff. We rode up to the cabin, & loved it immediately before we saw inside. The cabin decor is rustic elegance. The comfort, peace & quiet is priceless. We had a fire on the Bluff where beauty of the Views were truly breathtaking. Only The sounds of fire crackling and nature. The stars were shining on us. Two porches to rock your cares away. This cabin is close to attractions. I wouldnt change a thing about it. I recommend AL Capones High Pt resturant. Wonderful ambiance and food. Smoke Housee BBQ great too.
Owners are caring and very helpful...This is a true treat of a getaway......Thank you for sharing this lovely place. We have found our new Favorite place. HEMLOCK FALLS.
This cabin is perfect in every way. If you are looking for total seclusion and privacy, this is it. Located on 8 acres overlooking the Fiery Gizzard, you will have stunning mountain views, waterfalls only steps away, and gorgeous sunsets right from your own porch (and hummingbirds!). Lynn has thought of every detail from picnic baskets, tea lights for a romantic night out on the porch in rocking chairs, and a thousand other little touches that make you feel right at home the minute you walk through the door. We drove into town and ate breakfast at T's diner (home-cooked goodness), and visited several hiking spots in the area that also had beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. The towering hemlock trees are a must see! Lynn has a big notebook full of all the local eateries and attractions, but we hated leaving the cabin because it's so relaxing and we wanted to soak it in as much as we could. I'm the type to do lots of research and spend hours deciding on things like this, but this cabin stood out from all the rest and I just knew it was "the one". I could not have made a better decision and I promise you will not be disappointed, so stop looking because this is the cabin to choose!
The property was everything and more than described. Very relaxing, serene, comfortable and absolutely BEAUTIFUL views! The property was immaculate. The decor and the work the owners have done on the property is absolutely charming and maintains the integrity of the original log cabin. The owners are very welcoming and hospitable. We visited the area for the hiking and were not disappointed. We grilled each night so did not take advantage of area restaurants. We wanted to spend as much time as possible at the cabin!!! The only reason I would not recommend this cabin to friends/family is to keep it all to ourselves!!!!!!!!! We can't wait for our return visit.
Beautiful little cabin! Perfect for a romantic get-a-way! Beautifully decorated inside and out! The hosts were very gracious and attentive making sure we had everything we needed. They also provided information about the area and the many activities available.
