The Cottage is street facing (not a guest house) and is located on a quiet residential street in the trendy neighborhood of Culver City where the neighbors actually talk to each other! Perfect for business or pleasure, walk to downtown Culver restaurants, cafes and shops and we're just 2 blocks from Sony Pictures. Minutes to beaches, UCLA, USC, Hollywood and Universal Studios.

Pretty Neighbourhood & Accommodation to match

We stayed in the house for 6 nights in January 2020 and it was an amazing time. Heidi is a fantastic host and all check in/check out instructions are very clear. The property exceeded our expectations and the listing is very accurate if modest 😀 The neighbourhood is perfect to escape the noise and business of Los Angeles and feels like a nice community. There were so many perfect little touches around the property that made it feel so homely. We have had a great time and thank you to Heidi for some excellent recommendations in the guestbook. We would come back to Heidi’s property in a heartbeat and were very sad to leave! LA is huge so nowhere will be entirely central but Culver City is a good location to explore this all from. Thank you Heidi and we look forward to staying again in the future. Robbie & Danielle x

SoCal Getaway

The cottage was perfect for a four day trip to do activities and visit friends. Culver City is an excellent location with many easy to reach amenities. The host took care of all needs with quick responses and insights. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful cottage in Culver City

Great and quiet location and Heidi was a terrific host! The cottage has everything you could possibly need. The shared garden with the fire pit is fantastic. The ability to use the bikes even adds to the thoughtfulness that has gone into the rental. Will definitely stay again on our next visit!

We loved everything about this cottage. We didn’t realize it was a duplex til we got there but we were the only occupants on those days so it worked out great. It was immaculate and so organized!

Hi! I have lived in Culver City my entire life, and love to host new visitors to our charming town in a big city. I am down to earth and love the outdoors. I especially like hiking, yoga and biking along the beach (yes, we have great hiking spots in Los Angeles!). I am a single mom and took my son on his first overseas trip at the age of 2! Now in high school he loves to travel as much as I do. We still live in Culver City and we'd be honored to host you as our guest in our Sunny Cottage Home!

Our family has enjoyed living in each of the different units at one time or another throughout the years. It truly is a special place on a unique street and we'd love to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

Culver City has recently become at hot spot in Los Angeles, and the Cottage is located in the best part of Culver City. Originally built in the 1920's as movie studio housing, the Cottage Triplex has a rich heritage connected to the beginning of "Hollywood's" Golden Age. Each unit is also surrounded by a large beautifully landscaped garden which is unusual for Culver City, especially Los Angeles. And everyone falls in love with the cool ocean breeze we are lucky to have on our side of the street. It generously cools the house creating a relaxing garden oasis in the middle of a creative, bustling vibrant city.
