We had a great stay at this property. Very spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The property was accurate to the description and pictures provided by the owners. The property was in a great, safe area, within walking distance of several restaurants and bars in the Back Bay area.
My only gripe was that the parking garage has only a 6.0-foot clearance. We had traveled to Boston to go to the Pats-Seahawks game, and had rented a larger SUV to drive / tailgate, but there was no way to fit it in this parking garage and we had to park in a pay-to-park lot nearby for $40/night. Nothing the owners could do about this issue and this information IS clearly stated in their description of the property.
We loved this apartment and couldn't have asked for a better location. There were a couple of issues with the cleaning service when we first arrived, but a call to Stay Alfred got them quickly resolved. The rooms are nice, but one had no closet or place for clothing. The master was fantastic and it was nice to have 2 balconies.
Came in for the Boston Marathon 2016. Nice place for a family to stay and enjoy everything the City and Marathon have to offer. Walking distance to Marathon finish line and all activities from the expo to all excitement on Boylston and Newbury Streets. Star Market right around the corner for groceries and easy access to public transit. Plenty of room for gathering and at night is very quiet for sleeping. Had seven in our party and still had plenty of room to sleep and hang out. The inside can use a little deeper cleaning between rentals and carpets need cleaned deeply and/or replaced. Overall the unit met our needs and we would come back again and hopefully for another Boston Marathon.
Terrific location. Quiet, clean, and nicely appointed apartment that needs a little TLC. Very good value compared to hotels in the area.
We enjoyed our" Stay Alfred"- weekend at Garrison Apts. very much. Super location, close to everything; no need of a car. Apt. was clean, spacious, well equipped and very quiet.
