With a location of less than 1/2 mile from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Valley View Cabin is ideal for all the activities the area has to offer. The Deep Creek Recreation Area in the Park has hiking to 3 waterfalls and in the summer you can rent a tube and float down crystal clear water of the creek. You can take a short hike or drive to the Park for a picnic or just to enjoy nature. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is less than 2 miles away in downtown Bryson City. The area's mysterious Road to Nowhere is 4 miles away and you'll only be 7 miles from the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino.

Great cabin, location mislabeled on the map, which caused us some trouble, but we still had fun!
We had a really great time at the cabin. On the map (even the gps coordinates that were provided) it was placed near Nantahala Village which was where we wanted to stay. In reality it was outside of Bryson City. The cabin was nice and clean and aside from some extra unexpected driving we had a great time!
Just what we needed
We stayed at Valley View cottage for a week, it had everything we needed for a great stay. Wish we would have used the hot tub more (it worked great the one time we used it) and it rained quite a bit, so no fire. It was nice to see so many kitchen items available so we cooked an amount. After long days of motorcycling we enjoyed relaxing in the living room discussing out day. Over all we had a great time and would certainly rent it again, next time we'll use that hot tub more!
The screen porch is a treat! We had coffee and cocktails out there every day looking at the mountains and listening to the birds, even got to see a rainbow one day and the field next door filled with fireflies our last night. The doors could use some mending to help keep the bees out, other than that we loved the little gem :)
Wonderful little cottage!
The cottage is very comfy. We wish we could stay another week. Its very peaceful. The only thing I can think of is possibly a firmer bed. Overall, we loved this cottage and are planning on renting it again.
The cabin was nestled up in the mountains, but close enough to town.
The cabin reminded me of going to Grandma’s house. So cute and charming. Plenty of room for a family of 6 to spend time together. The hot tub and the fire pit were a hit!
We had a nice one night stay, hot tub was great and close to casino. Kitchen was tiny but living room was very nice size, (who needs to cook anyway?) we would rent again.
Enjoyed our stay. It was a little closer to other cabins than we would have liked but as we were e
The cabin was clean and had plenty of seating in the living area. The beds were not as firm as we would have liked. They could definitely use replacing. The hot tub was low on water and did not heat up enough to be used after filling. We did enjoy the screened porch and fire pit. Would be nice if wood was provided as we had to return to town to purchase.
