Out'n About Chalets is a legally operating vacation rental business established in 2012. *NOTE: The Town of Canmore just announced they are cracking down on illegally run vacation rental businesses in Canmore. Make sure you are booking your holiday at a legally run vacation rental business like ours! And, in 2018, we will go back to offering our guests a complimentary Banff Park Pass to get in and out of the Park! (it's free access through the end of this year).

We are a professional family from Calgary who have enjoyed our mountain getaway immensely. We've spent many wonderful times together at our Canmore condo exploring the area, skiing, biking and hiking -- so much to do it's never dull in Canmore. We hope you enjoy it too!

Why Donna Scott chose Alberta

We needed the extra space - the three bedrooms were great as the kids got older. Having our own washer/dryer in the unit was a huge convenience for an active family. The south facing private balcony was perfect for our family meals 'n BBQ's in the warmer months and the views are to die for!

Just a 10 minute walk to downtown Canmore's shops 'n restaurants as well as the new "Elevation Place" recreation centre, close to the ROAM public transit system that goes between Canmore & Banff, and a quick hop onto the TransCanada Highway for excursions to Kananaskis, Banff National Park & Lake Louise, our location can't be beat.

Great base for exploring the mountains!

Clean and well-stocked, this villa is the perfect place to stay while exploring Banff and Lake Louise. We loved cooking meals and planning our days in the kitchen and dining room. Three bedrooms meant everyone could spread out and relax.

Decent choice for a condo stay

This condo is a good choice for a family, the layout is a large master bedroom with full en-suite and two smaller bedrooms that share a second bath with shower, all upstairs. It's a little cramped in places but everything you need is there.

Great place to stay in Canmore!

This was an excellent place to stay for our family of four. Great location, perfect size, well stocked, clean, comfortable and we loved sitting on the patio and enjoying the beautiful view. We also enjoyed the short walk to downtown for dining, shopping or even just an ice cream cone. Donna, your book, 'Out'n About', is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone planning a family trip to the Canmore/Banff area. We really enjoyed our vacation. Thank you for your hospitality!
