Private, comfortable, large gathering space, plenty of off-street parking.
We just stayed here to celebrate Thanksgiving. It worked for our group, and had the weather been nicer, the four seasons room and outdoor space would have been used even more.
This property was perfect for myself and 11 family members to come together from all over the United States to join in a family reunion. The property was clean, well stocked with linens, dish ware, condiments and other miscellaneous food items. The owners were available should any problems occur (which didn't occur), and checked to see if everything was all right, but weren't hanging over us. They were very cooperative when one of our people forgot a stuffed animal, allowing us to pick it up the following day. The property is handicap accessible, which wasn't mandatory in our case, however the master shower was a tiled room so you just walked in the shower, yet plenty of room to dry off -- I wanted to bring it home! The home was well maintained, included washer and dryer, had plenty of games and things to do. The only thing lacking, was wi-fi. We enjoyed the musical fountain in downtown Grand Haven, and were close to other family members in Spring Lake. Some enjoyed antique-ing, others golfed. Groceries and fresh fruit and vegetables were readily available. The yard and the neighborhood were pleasant and enjoyable. All in all, I would highly recommend this property and Myra and Jerry. I would come again if our family could get together again.
The property was immaculate & very roomy. Mayra & Jerry thought of every little detail. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone.
We had a great weekend, aside from the weather. The house had plenty of space for 10 of us to be inside without being on top of each other. All we had to bring was clothes and food, made for a stress free getaway.
We had a great time at their home. It was big enough for all of us and very comfortable. We would definitely go back there. Thank you for letting us rent your home.
Our whole family of eight came from California for a family reunion and we needed five bedrooms. Myra and Jerry were so nice in allowing us to check in a little early (my husband and I had come ahead on the red-eye and were exhausted) and they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was perfect for us. It was clean, spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, the parking was great (we had three cars and relatives came to visit), and the backyard and patio was so nice and peaceful that we really enjoyed our evenings out there. This was a great rental house. We really enjoyed our time there.
There are many wineries/ breweries and tasting rooms all along the shores of Lake Michigan, from Indiana to the Mackinac bridge. Michigan's Adventure is an amusement park and a water park in Muskegon, Michigan and is about 30 minutes away.
