This large beautiful 2br with private terrace is simply fantastic. The apartment features hard wood floors and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, loveseat, cable tv, dresser and desk. The living room has a pull out sofa as well as a large flat screen with cable TV and playstation. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, desk and dresser. The small terrace is perfect for getting a breath of fresh air. As for the building... it is a newish (2007) elevator building located on a quiet street and is close to everything! (you can hang out in the lower east side (0-5 min walk)... you can shop in soho. (5-8 min walk).. you can have dinner in little italy (5 min walk)... you can have brunch in the east village (5-10 min walk)... you can have authentic chinese food in china town (5 min walk)...plus there are several subways within a 3-5 min walk so it's easy to get around the city (F/M/B/D/J/Z/6 lines)... The bottom line is this apartment is far better than a tiny hotel room for less money. Come stay here...I promise, you'll be happy you did!!!

Great neighborhood away from the hectic tourist scene. Easy access to subway and a short walk to soho, Chinatown, LES, and little Italy. Warm and comfortable place. Highly recommend this place.
Very clean and neat. All essentials were there for a pleasant stay! It felt like a home away from home! Thanks for the coffee and wine! It was very thoughtful of the owner to have included espresso coffee as well, knowing that we were from Italy! Very quiet at night in spite of the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.
Good location - safe
laundry in basement.
The apartment could work for a weekend getaway, but for a family of 4, with multiple suitcases, there was simply not enough room, as there are way too few cupboards.
Although there is a full kitchen, with fridge, stove, gas, etc., there is no place to sit down and have a meal - no dining table and not even bar stools to sit next to the kitchen counter. This was a shame, as we were looking forward to eating breakfast in the apartment, after 2 weeks on the road where we constantly ate breakfast out.
The bed linen and towels were clean, but had some stains, which was a pity as this detracted from the overall cleanliness.
To summarise: Good for travellers with not a lot of lugagge, so not so good for a family. Don't expect to eat in.
We're not from NY, so the place, which New Yorkers might find spacious, to us was small and claustrophobic. The area, near busy De Lancey, was very noisy. We weren't there very much, so it didn't matter too much, and the area is very interesting with places to eat close by, and that proved helpful. The picture on VRBO looked like there would be stools to enable eating at a kitchen counter, which would have been really helpful, as we basically had to eat breakfast sitting in the living room, very awkward. Also, the main bedroom's bed was more like a double, extremely awkward for our 6'4" guest.
We had a good time in New York and were glad to find a place to stay that suited many of our needs during the meeting of the United Nations when other accommodation would certainly have been difficult and extremely expensive.
the house was great, clean, and super convenient to all the things we wanted to do in the City. i live here, and stayed with my visiting parents, and the location really helped for everything i wanted to do in the City. i def. recommend this place. thanks!
All amenities a available. Place has potential to be really cute. Needs a woman's touch Mike. Color on the walls, pillows, a plant or two on the balcony.
Mike was very accommodating with an early check in and was available by phone anytime we had a question. We enjoyed the wine and coffee. Would definitely stay again.
