Guestbook comments from the manager

Our family of 7 stayed at the Canyonview Family Cabin for 6 nights. This cabin is located between Blanding and Monticello Utah in a picturesque setting. We used the cabin as a basecamp for all of our travels to the surrounding area National Parks and attractions. There are deer that can be watched outside of the windows in the mornings and birds feeding at the feeders during the day. The owners also have two dogs that are very kid friendly. The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. The children loved the tree house and building a campfire in the fire pit. The owners are friendly and very helpful. We would highly recommend this cabin! We will definitely use Canyonlands Lodging in the future for our stay in the Canyonlands Area,

Great, I totally recommend it.

We stayed here with two families, 11 people total. The cabin is clean and quite roomy, and very well stocked. The water situation is the only drawback. The water pressure is a bit low and the shower temperature a bit low too.

Owner's Response: One of the great things about this cabin is the "off the grid" features. The water temperature is at 110 degrees, should be hot for everyone. How many of these places were you able to visit while you were here? *Arches National Park *Canyonlands National Park South Entrance *Monticello Temple *Bluff Fort *Hideout Golf Course, Rated #1 *100’s of Ancient American Ruin Sites *Edge of the Cedars State Park and Ruins *Newspaper Rock *Wilson Arch *Mule Canyon Ruins *Grand Gulch Hiking and Ruins *Hovenweep Ruins State Park *Valley of the Gods *Needles Overlook of Canyonlands *Natural Bridges National Monument *Goosenecks Overlook State Park *38 Major ATV/Jeep Trailheads, over 3000 miles of trails *Mesa Verde Ruins *Monument Valley National Park *John Wayne Movie Museum *Four Corners National Monument

AMAZING WINTER GETAWAY

  • 5 of 5

This house (home) was the best place we have stayed (and we travel lots!). It has the feel of a truly comfy and FULLY STOCKED home! There were four of us and we all agree UU are truly gifted in making your visitors feel at home (UU even left me cream for my coffee!!). We found it immaculate when we arrived, and it was so easy to keep it clean!! A fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and bedding made it a perfect place to stay. Although this was an adult getaway this time, we want to bring our children and grandchildren down in the summer to take advantage of your summer activities!! Thanks again for sharing this amazing property!!

Outstanding stay

  • 5 of 5

While it was a business trip in the middle of winter, it was great fun to come back to the warmth of the cabin and wake up the next morning to the bright sun, beautiful snow and lots of birds waiting to be fed. The lodge has many personal touches that truly makes one feel like they are home. Highly recommended any time of the year.

The property was very nice, just what we wanted

  • 5 of 5

The property was very nice, a lot of really, really nice decorating touches !! The dogs were super and they made us feel right at home. We loved being isolated and having the room to spread out, just wish it wasn't as far a drive to Moab each day, but the drive was interesting and no traffic. The Christmas tree was beautiful and once again, hats off to the decorator !!!

A few times we had problems with the Wi-Fi dropping the connection and really wish there was High Def TV. It was hard to watch the football games in standard definition.

The views of the sunsets and sunrises were great.

Thanks for a great vacation.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your stay. You are great guests! The drive to Moab is so beautiful and it is great being that close to Moab, and yet within easy driving to the other 11 parks as well. Thank you for enjoying the decor in the cabin. My wife loves decorating it! We just installed new WIFI and it's 3 times faster now. Not sure about the big screen TV's, they are both High Def and work very nicely. Hurry back for a discount! Thank you, Jerry and Tina
