About Jerry Murdock

Founders Teague Eskelsen and Lisa Ballantyne rebuilt a lodge at the base of the La Sal Mountains in southeast Utah, near Moab, Utah. Operating as a successful bed and breakfast for 15 years, the property's purpose was dramatically altered when a mare and her very small and very ill colt appeared needing help, providing the beginning and inspiration for Mt. Peale Sanctuary and Healing Center.

Jerry Murdock purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Jerry Murdock chose La Sal

This cabin has a full kitchen and living room/dining room areas along with plush sleeping areas. We are centrally located among 12 National Parks and Monuments. This beautiful cabin is secluded, quiet and private, yet is accessible to the highway for easy visits to sites of your choice, or just relax on the covered patio and enjoy the scenery and quiet. The sunrises and sunsets here are spectacular, and the star gazing is out of this world. You are sure to enjoy the cabin and all of its western luxuries.

Thank you,

Jerry and Tina Murdock

Hi Jerry. Thanks for last minute help with accommodations.I wanted to thank you for getting us out of a pinch with this cabin last week in the Moab vicinity. The cabin you booked for us in Old La Sal turned out to far exceed our expectations. We really liked it and will likely call you next year to book the same cabin. What a great experience and a great motorcycle trip in Southern UT.
