2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1300 sq ft groundfloor apartment with pool and garden view

Our two bedroom two bathroom ground floor apartment is located on one of the best beaches on the west coast of Barbados. Fully air conditioned and fully furnished it is a perfect place for family holidays or for friends sharing. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, electric BBQ, blender for making those delicious cocktails, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, etc. There is also a washer and dryer which means no need to pack so many bags! The spacious outdoor living with ceiling fan leads straight out to the gardens and the pool and of course the beach.

Having your own apartment makes a holiday more affordable and allows you the freedom of creating your own meals or dining out when you choose to. Housekeeping is provided 6 days a week except Sundays. Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout and internet TV also provided along with DVDs, board games and some beach toys. This property lends itself well to families during school holidays and to couples and friends who can travel out of school holidays. Barbados Villa Services provides an onsite villa manager to take care of anything you may require be it restaurant reservations, car hire or specialized fishing and catamaran cruises (private or shared)

Resort facilities include 2 tennis courts, large fresh water swimming pool and fresh water wading pool, daily beach and pool towel service, beach and pool loungers, umbrellas and towels, gated resort, 24/7 security, day-time bar, complimentary WiFi, concrete table tennis table, foozball.

Just along the beach are great beach bars like Ju-Jus, Santi and the famous Lonestar which now serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is the perfect spot to watch the sunset with a cocktail or chilled glass of wine. Water sports from water skiing to paddle boarding is also available at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Beach Club. The beach in front of Glitter Bay is well known for turtle egg laying and hatching of the baby turtles and you can even swim with these serene creatures just off of Lonestar.

Glitter Bay 109 is minutes away from Holetown. This is where the first settlers landed from the Mayflower which sailed from Plymouth in the 1630's. It is now developed into a bustling town offering great restaurants, beach bars, night life, shops, supermarket, banks and 24/7 medical facility.

We are Marilil and Joe Troulan, married for 20 years in April 2016 with three beautiful daughters. I am a Barbadian and Joe is English, ex-forces Royal Commando. We both have extensive backgrounds in the tourism and maintenance fields and together we have a family operated business "Barbados Villa Services". Our apartment at Glitter Bay is located on one of the best beaches on the west coast of Barbados. With a long stretch of sandy beach and tranquil sea it is a haven where you can swim, snorkel and even see turtles hatching and nesting (during season). Our apartment is well equipped and well suited to families as it sleeps 5 on the existing bedding and located directly across from the swimming pool and the beach path makes this easy access via the secured patio gate.

We always dreamed of owning a property at Glitter Bay, both Joe and I worked in various ways at Glitter Bay since 2001. I looked after clients in my capacity as villa representative for Elegant Resorts as well as overseeing an apartment for an original owner and Joe did refurbishment works in approximately 30 units throughout the years. We purchased the property from an original owner and we are passionate about Glitter Bay. Our business is focused on rentals at Glitter Bay and we currently manage 17 other units on the property making us the biggest small rental company on property.

Having an apartment on a beautiful beach close to Holetown is ideal - you have all the comforts of home at a fraction of the cost of a hotel stay. With fabulous restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets in Holetown and even just along the beach you are spoiled for choice. From Lone Star to JuJus, to Tides and Zaccios, the choices are endless. Limegrove complex offers duty free shopping with names like Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Armani Exchange, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors along with cafes, bars and a luxury cinema.

The ground floor access to the pool and the beach path direct from the patio is so convenient plus the gorgeous views of the spacious gardens and towering coconut trees lends a sense of peace and tranquility to this apartment. There is even a small glimpse of ocean. The cool spacious interiors and open plan living area creates a space for friends and family to gather and enjoy all that the property has to offer.

For those inclined to be energetic there is tennis, table tennis and foosball along with a small fitness room. The best exercise - swimming in the beautiful sea or pool and walking/running along the sandy shore.
