I love it's proximity to all the places I like to go; downtown, hip strip, University, The Rattlesnake Wilderness area, Pattee Canyon, Sentinel, Mt Jumbo and all the nearby rivers.
The house is lovely and has great energy and the yard is peaceful, quiet and beautiful.
This house was perfect for me and my 2 teenage daughters! The amenities such as walk in-shower, new stove, granite counter tops, great beds etc were top notch. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and opening the windows at night. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and well equipped with enough towels and blankets. The location is very convenient to the University of MT, food store, downtown and restaurants.
We will stay there again when we return to,Missoula😄
My daughter and I recently spent several days in Rosemary's Missoula cottage and had a wonderful stay. The house was very comfortable, and had a well stocked kitchen in which we were able to cook many meals. The location was superb, as walking to the University and local trails were but 15 minutes away. Caffe Dolce, a wonderful place for breakfast, cappacinos and fabulous pastas is also just around the corner. I highly recommend this lovely home for your stay in Missoula.
We stayed several days at this house while visiting our child, who is a student in Missoula. The house is clean, bright, and not too far from the University and downtown. The owner has many interesting books. The yard has beautiful native plantings.
We enjoyed sitting by the large dining room table by the picture window, which has a top-down, bottom-up shade. This is nice for looking out and not ‘being on display.’ We also sat at the table and chairs on the front porch and watched deer and gazed at the mountains to the south.
The layout of the house in unusual. The bathroom is off the kitchen on the opposite side of the house from the bedrooms. The house is heated by a gas stove in the living room and the bedrooms felt a little cold.
The owner lives in a basement unit, but we saw her only briefly. She was friendly and was easy to reach via text and e-mail.
This was just what we needed, cozy and close to town. Easy to walk to cafe dolce, le petite and some of my favorite places! Rosemary was available for questions during our stay and made for a lovely time!
Was perfect for us to stay with another couple with two rooms and lots of sitting area with a nice sized kitchen.
Rosemary was very flexible and allowed us to check out later because our flight was later in the day. Thanks for a great stay!
My daughter, husband and I enjoyed our stay at Rosemary's Slant Street Bungalow. The bungalow has everything that you need. We slept well and were fresh everyday to enjoy our vacation in Missoula. I can recommend Rosemary's Slant Street Bungalow. I will stay there again on my next visit to Missoula.
This house was perfectly located in the heart of Missoula. Anywhere you want to be is within a fifteen minute walk from here; whether it be the University of Montana, Clarke Fork River, historic downtown with all their wonderful breweries and restaurants, Caras Park, grocery store, coffee shops and bakeries, Osprey ballpark and even the fairgrounds.
This bungalow is clean, well-stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen items. The television reception is a bit lacking, so if you are hoping for television entertainment you would be best off to bring or rent dvd's. There is a built-in DVD player in the tv. However, it is much more entertaining to sit on the front porch in the evening and watch the deer as they walk down the street and even stop and munch on some flowers in the front garden. If you sit on the porch in the mornings you may even see the raccoon that strolls down the neighborhood in the mornings.
We are looking forward to a return trip.
