The building is Grade II listed and in a conservation area. This is an opportunity to stay in a spacious, contemporary furnished, central London property with outside space for relaxation and dining.
Within a 2 minute walk from Paddington Station which can be reached in 15mins from London's Heathrow Airport via the Heathrow Express. Paddington is also London's main train hub to the west -Oxford, Bath, Plymouth, Cornwall and Devon, Stonehenge and Wiltshire, Cardiff and Wales.
All London's many attractions are either on the doorstep or easily reached by underground, bus or taxi. There are four underground stations within easy walking, Paddington, Lancaster Gate, Queensway, Bayswater. These stations are serviced by Central, Circle, District, Bakerloo and Hammersmith and City lines.
Local Shopping and Restaurants: There is a large variety of cuisines available locally in Bayswater ranging from economy to expensive. French, Italian, Chinese, Indian. Thai, Lebanese, Greek, Modern European, Spanish, etc. A little further afield and within easy walking distances there is an enormous choice of restaurant in areas such as Notting Hill, Edgware Road, Kensington, Marylebone and Bloomsbury
Oxford Street, Regents Street, Harrods, South Kensington shopping are within easy reach and Whitely's Shopping Centre is located nearby in Bayswater. There are 83 street markets of London they are a real treat, especially those at Camden and Portobello Road which is close by.
Westfield Shopping Centre, the larget in Europe is only a few stops on the underground.
Anywhere in London can be accessed by bus, tube and taxi, all easily available locally within 200 metres from the property.

What a lovely apartment, well maintained and close to everything. Fred & Iris are so easy to work with. Fred met us at Paddington station & showed us to the property which is so close. Also having a fully equipped kitchen including eggs, butter & orange juice was a nice touch.
I look forward to returning to this lovely home.
Beautiful and spotless apartment in great location. Every aspect was comfortable and Fred and Iris are lovely and engaging people. They are top notch, thorough, approachable, honest and fair owners. We were met at Paddington, helped with luggage, and given many tips about the area. Real people and a real find; rare these days. When in London next time wouldn't consider staying any where else, even if solo. Many thanks for your hospitality!
We stayed in this apartment for six nights and could not have been happier with the accommodations. Fred and Iris went out of their way when we arrived to get us settled - Fred met us at the train station, gave us helpful tips on restaurants, supermarket, etc, on the short walk back to the place. When we got to the apartment both Fred and Iris gave us a ton of information about London and the neighborhood, and left a large map and several travel books.
The apartment itself was fantastic - we had lots of space for us and our four teenage children, the kitchen was well equipped, we didn't end up using it much but having the little patio outside was a nice bonus, the wifi worked great. The apartment was very clean, and well-equipped for our stay, the owners really thought of everything. The only thing potential renters should be aware of is the steps to get down to the apartment, this would definitely not be ok for anyone with mobility issues.
The location of the apartment was also great, it was very close to Paddington station and several bus stops. We could walk to Kensington Park in about 10 minutes. There was a good variety of restaurants and a large supermarket within a few minutes walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet at night, everything was extremely comfortable.
For our family traveling with teenagers, being able to go back in the evenings to a place that felt like home instead of a hotel made the trip so much more enjoyable. Everyone had a bit of space, and we were able to stock up on snacks and stay in at night to cook dinner if we chose. Thanks to Fred and Iris for sharing your place with us!
This property was excellent! I can't imagine what could have made it better! Fred met us at the train station & gave us a friendly escort to the flat. The home is even nicer than it looks in the pictures! I was concerned about renting a property overseas (felt like a leap of faith!) but they took all of the worry out of the entire experience! I hope our travels bring us back to London, and I can rent from them again! The location is close to everything, (Paddington station for one!), and it was simple to find a great meal or do some shopping all within walking distance. The terrace front (tree lined street with parking near the homes) kept the vehicular noise down-we could even sleep with the windows open a bit! The home felt like we were staying over at a friend's house-terrific details that made it so very comfortable. They thought of everything! I'd give it more stars if I could!
A truly lovely and charming flat, within easy walking distance of Paddington Station, bus stations, food markets, pubs, and restaurants. The owners are the best! They met us when we arrived at Paddington and walked us to the flat, and settled us in. The flat has all the modern amenities, but retains a lovely charm. Plenty of space to just unwind after a busy day of activities and sightseeing. We would absolutely stay here again!

No fixed changeover days. 25% deposit payable within 5 days of booking. 100% of rental fee and a refundable security deposit of GBP200 is payable 6 weeks before rental period starts. The security deposit less any loss or breakage costs will be refunded within two weeks of the end of the rental period.
Cancellation policy: A full refund of deposit will be given, providing at least 42 days notice in writing. Cancellations within the 42 days will be refunded if the property booking can be re-let.
We advise that guests take out insurance to cover their belongings and losses from cancellations within the 42 day period.
Changeovers on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day will not be accepted.
