My husband and I grew up in central Newfoundland. We enjoy a lot of outdoor activities that our province has to offer. We are avid snowmobilers and love to fish both in winter and summer. We travel quite a lot and have properties in Spain but we still value the great Newfoundland outdoors!
Cindy purchased this chalet in 2009
We visited Humber Valley Resort many times to enjoy winter and summer activities. We enjoy the area so much that we purchased a property on the resort.
One of our favorite times of the year at Humber Valley is autumn when the views of the surrounding colourful mountains and river are breathtaking!
The open plan of our chalet is ideal for group meetings, wedding showers, family gatherings, or corporate retreats.

Stayed for a long weekend with 8 adults, for a snowmobile trip. Was an awesome chalet in all respects. Huge kitchen and open spaces, large bedrooms, clean, all the amenities. Have stayed in several other chalets on the resort, both in winter and summer, and this is the best one, IMO. In fact we did not even care that the snow conditions this year were not ideal, more time in the chalet! This was my second time in this particular chalet, stayed a few years ago with 3 or 4 families with young kids, for a ski weekend, and it was perfect for that too! Will definitely book again for next year's snowmobile trip!
What an awesome villa!!! Lots of room, beautiful amenities, and the owners are so accommodating. Would recommend to anyone.
Our extended family stayed in this beautiful chalet over Christmas and New Years and absolutely loved it. It is very spacious and the open concept layout is perfect for a large group. The kitchen was a chef's dream and it was extremely well equipped, as was the whole place. Our grandchildren found lots to keep them busy and want to go back. The owners were extremely nice and even went to the trouble of putting up Christmas decorations and a tree for us, which really made us feel at home and the property manager Damon is a super nice man. We would definitely rent this chalet again should the need arise.
We were lucky enough to enjoy this property for a week. We had family staying with us and hosted a family gathering. The property came fulling stocked with everything we needed - plates, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans. We only needed to pic up the food and drinks. The owners were very accommodating - we added an extra night at the end of our stay with short notice. I have and will be recommending this property to friends and family.
Wonderful resort, property had everything we needed . Wrap around balcony with sitting area
was wonderful. We were a family of 10 and there was more than enough room for all. Well furnished and
lovely art work. We would stay here again if we have the opportunity. I would rate it 6 stars but only
5 are available.,
We rented the chalet with four families over Easter to enjoy skiing and snowmobiling. The chalet was roomy, clean, well equipped, and met our needs perfectly for young children. We will be returning next year for sure! The Easter Bunny even found his way there!!
