Santiago López Fernández purchased this apartment in 2005
All was fantastic in Toledo.
The apartment was cleaan and very near all important monuments to visit.
My husband and I stayed here for Christmas. The location of the house is perfect, old town heart, just 5 minute walk to the Cathedral, the Jewish quarter or Zocodover square. The apartment, very clean and well-maintained, is quiet and peaceful and it has all the necessary equipment, which made our stay really comfortable and relaxing. We appreciated very much free wifi. The owner (Santiago) was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming and very responsive to email.
I would highly recommend "Las Doncellas". For us it was just perfect, like home to home. Hope to come back soon!
¡Gracias! Roberto & María
Four of us visited Toledo for two days in early September and thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there. The city itself is wonderful and has much to offer. We loved staying in the historical part and being able to walk to many beautiful sites including the Cathedral.
The apartment is conveniently located, very clean and comfortable, and well appointed. It was great to have a private terrace to enjoy breakfasts and glasses of wine in the evening. Our hosts Santiago and Raquel could not have been kinder or more helpful. We highly recommend this apartment.
This was our first visit to Toledo and in reality we didn't know a great deal about it. It did exceed our expectations as did the apartment.
Santiago met us at the apartment and gave us the run down, prior to this he was very responsive in all of our dealings with him.
The apartment was well equipped and very well located within the old walled city.
Toledo does take some getting used to with its narrow streets that seem to have no particular order about them, but this is part of its charm.
The only negative is that if you have a car as we did getting in and out of Toledo is a bit stressful with the narrow streets. The GPS got us there OK but had a few problems getting us out when streets were closed.

After an intensive search of apartments for our stay, we decided to rent Santiago and Raquel apartments. Was fantastic. Santiago is a fantastic host. Take us in Train Station and show the incredible views from the top of the Tajo river.
The apartment is fantastic situated for visit the old city. Clean, charming and with big bedroom for us.
we highly recomended this apartment for visit Toledo
Our family of 5 spend just one night in Toledo, but hope to return to explore further, and would love to stay in this apartment. It's comfortable, clean, and quiet. It has everything you need, but with all the lovely bars around it's unlikely you'd want to eat in. Santiago was very helpful; driving out to meet us on the edge of the city to show us secure parking close to the apartment, then as well a showing us around the apartment, told us of great bars, and the newly reopened El Greco museum (which was excellent). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment.
We had a great time in this old city. Real Spain. The historical sites and their stories were simply fascinating but watching free concerts in the plaza beside the cathedral was as welcome as it was unexpected. Santiago's excellent apartment was literally in the centre of it ball ut managed to be incredibly quiet. The well appointed flat was kept spotlessly clean and both Santiago and his wife made us very welcome. The attractions were all easily accessible and restaurants, supermarkets and bars were varied and plentiful. However, as always, what made Toledo special for us was the genuine warmth of the Spanish people who remained helpful despite our attempts at speaking Spanish. Toledo attracts lots of tourists but still remains very Spanish. Lots more shops were available in the newer part of the city which lies down below the city walls. Thankfully we found the external escalators very useful going to and from the old and new city in the expected heat. Hope to visit again soon.
Toledo (Latin: Toletum; In Arabic: TulayTela) is a city and municipality located in central Spain, 70 km south of Madrid. It is the capital of the province of Toledo and of the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha. It was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage as one of the former capitals of the Spanish Empire and place of coexistence of Christian, Jewish and Moorish cultures. Many famous people and artists were born or lived in Toledo, including Garcilaso de la Vega, Alfonso X and El Greco, and it was the place of important historic events such as the Visigothic Councils of Toledo. As of 2005, the city has a population of 75,578 and an area of 232.1 km² (89.59 square miles).
The Cathedral of Toledo (Catedral de Toledo) was built between 1226-1493 and modelled after the Bourges Cathedral, though it also combines some characteristics of the Mudéjar style. It is remarkable for its incorporation of light.
