Lovely clean gite. Neil has thought of everything needed for a comfortable holiday.
Quiet village. Car needed. Very easy access to all Burgundy has to offer
Lovely cottage , very well equipped in sleepy village close to the canal.
Having stayed in lots of gites we always take various things - the whole bag stayed untouched in this cottage . The owner has supplied everything ! Well furnished and with all equipment you could need , this added to the village and general area made for a brilliant week .
A delightful cottage, very well equipped in a quiet village off the beaten track. We enjoyed exploring Beaune and the small villages in the Burgandy region.
Delightful village position, well maintained gite.
Excellent base for exploring much of Burgundy.
Excellent accomodation in quiet surroundings
We liked the place immediately. It had a lovely atmosphere and everything anyone could possibly want on holiday. The village is quiet and peaceful and the house was easy to find. The nearest town, Pouilly en Auxois, has an excellent boulangerie, equally good butcher and a reliable supermarket. The canal, with its very good paths for cycling, ran close to the village. We greay e joyed our stay in Beurizot and would highly recommend the cottage to any friends wanting a place to stay in that region.
Lovely gite in lovely area
Clean & well equipped gite with nice garden. Bikes provided to cycle along the canal are a nice idea. Very pretty village in an interesting area, lots of medieval villages.
The quiet, pleasant and rustic village of Beurizot is situated less than 10 minutes drive north of the market town of Pouilly en Auxois and Vitteaux. The regions capital, Dijon, is easily reached by autoroute in less than 35 minutes and here you can shop, experiment with local food at the food market - Les Halles - and admire the culture and architecture of some of France's finest Château's and historical buildings. The Burgundy Canal passes through the village and you can walk or cycle along the tow path to the bakers in the next village.
Local attractions include; Dijon with its Museums, character town houses, garden and parks. Try Dijon market; 'les halles' for culinery delights. Nearby are the Canal side town of Pouilly en Auxois with good general commerce and restaurants and the medieval town of Semur en Auxois with historical buildings and good general commerce. The world famous vineyards of Chablis, Beaune and Nuits st George are easily accessible.
