A wonderful mix of B&B and vacation home rental that left us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast and the musical sound of rooster in the morning made for a unique experience. Plenty of room to wander the farm and the generous use of the heated pool was a welcomed bonus . Paul and Carolyn are wonderful hosts and we will defiantly be repeat customers the next time we visit NH.
We enjoyed our time on 'the farm'. Fresh eggs for breakfast from
chickens 50 ft. away. Lots of room at the cottage. We did not have to use the upstairs portion of the cottage. The cabinets were well stocked with pots, pans and cooking essentials. The weather was great, the surroundings were peaceful. We enjoyed shopping at a nearby meat market and downtown Newport had some interesting shops. Also, don't forget to use the pool. A word of caution, when driving to the farm, drive up the road from the south,
Google Maps may give directions to arrive from the north. That is wrong.
We were greeted by the most wonderful people you could ever meet. The accommodations were amazing. We had fresh doughnuts and coffee waiting for us a nice treat. All you could want and need for a great relaxing stay. The beds were so comfortable, and plenty to choose from. We truly felt it was a home away from home. Waking up to have coffee on the porch and watching the sunrise over the mountain in the distance, was a daily thing for us.
Washer and dryer, full kitchen with everything you could need to cook a fine dinner. I highly recommend this place
Sight seeing was so easy to do, its not far from anything you could want to do.
The owners Mr. & Mrs Baird put a lot of love into there place and it was a joy staying there.
I found this Gem after searching for hours. Was looking for a complete R & R experience and this place delivered! The setting can't be beat. We had great weather and enjoyed the specious pool daily and the animals. The grounds are well kept and the owners were always available for anything we needed. I have to say that Farmer Paul added to our experience. Will be back!
We stayed at the farmhouse for 3 nights over Columbus Day weekend. The house was big enough for me, my wife and three teenage daughters. It was such a unique experience being on a farm with all the animals. The covered bridge on the way there was beautiful. The foliage was spectacular and the owners really made us feel welcome. Highly recommended!!!
