The 650 Sq. Ft. lakefront storybook cedar cabin is nestled in a mature forest with a year round creek flowing beside it. This extremely private, stand alone lakefront cabin is one of a kind in this area as you have the entire property and beach to yourself. Watch the sunrise over the Purcell Mountains from the cabin and the deck with the timber swing and at night enjoy a campfire on the beach as you see the moon slowly rise over the mountains to reflect on the water.
The 200' of private lake frontage consists mainly of small, smooth, flat pebbles that are made to skip on the lakes' surface forever. The beach has a gradual slope into the lake which makes it safer for children. At the beach there is a fire-pit, hammock, tenting spots, horseshoe pitch or try the productive fishing from shore at the mouth of the creek for Kokanee and Trout. The cabin is located close to many popular fishing spots for the giant Gerrard Rainbows and has a buoy for mooring your boat just off of our beach and a row boat to get to your boat.
Many of our new and returning guests choose this cabin for its privacy as it is located near the end of a no-thru road and is well away from the main roadway. You will only hear the wind and water as the other properties are well hidden past the trees. Reviews from past guests can by read on our ad on the website.
Pets are considered with an additional fee of $20 per pet per night and collected separately by owners.
Email Darrell and Chloe for more information on the cabin or the Kaslo area and its' activities and ask to have a copy of the Day Trip Distance and local Information package sent to you..
The private 200' of beach is almost level with the cabin and is covered with small smooth flat pebbles that are made to skip on the lakes' surface forever. At the beach there is a fire pit, tenting spots, horseshoe pitch and badminton. There is productive fishing from the shore where the creek meets the lake. The year round creek that flows beside the cabin meets the lake at the beach and provides a relaxing sound as you relax in the hammock near the mouth of the creek. The entire property is private with many mature trees throughout and bordering the properties on either side that are barely visible.
