ABSOLUTELY NO 2 NIGHT RENTALS. Three IS THE MINIMUM in OFF SEASON. ONLY WEEKLY RENTALS IN THE SUMMER: Saturday through Saturday in the summer. This home is called 'The Fish House' because the decor is all tropical fish. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other bedroom has 2 twins. There are two pads in the living room so you could sleep 6. It is on a non through street, so it's on the quietest street on the Island with a location close enough to the beach to walk there in 5 minutes or less! Cable TV, dvd player, wireless internet. check out our web pics. Fully furnished kitchen; Cathedral ceilings. Sorry - NO PETS AND NO SMOKING!

We bought this 'cottage' in 1972 and then tore it down and rebuilt it in 1993. My husband and I built for our own family. We love Catalina Island! I love the water in Catalina and my husband is an avid fisherman!

We love going to Catalina and especially are thrilled to be close to downtown where all the action is! (three blocks to beach - maybe 1/2 mi.)
My children & Grandchildren love Mini golf and pizza at Antonios....We love the quaint theatre with flashes of the past.
We enjoyed our stay in early August 2016. We love the quiet pedestrian only street. Very clean and well appointed unit. It is upstairs, which is good, but also can get very warm in the late afternoons. We kept all of the windows open, and there were two fans in the unit that we used at all times to keep the air flowing. The kitchen was very well stocked. Overall, it was a very nice unit, and we would definitely return.
We loved the location of this property. It is on a quiet street but very close to down town Avalon. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The house was comfortable and suited us very well. We would recommend this property to friends.
This beautiful second-story property is located on the only pedestrian-only street in Avalon. Just two blocks up from the town's pier and a short walk from all the must-see locations in town from the stunning classic Casino to the beautiful town-front beaches plus all the fine dining and shopping, to say it is perfectly located is an understatement. The unit is clean, bright and cheery with tasteful ocean themed decoration throughout and complete in every way. From birthday candles to Wi-Fi to DVDs for the flat screen and player, really we only needed to buy our food (from the nearby market) or opt to dine out and we were totally set. Sightseeing in and around town as well as scuba diving in the underwater park, this property made for a perfect getaway. It really was a dream (mini) vacation and we are definitely planning to return for a longer stay. We highly recommend this property.

The house was nice and clean but LOUD - especially in the evenings. In the rental below, as with many others on the street, it seemed to be locals with lots of children. Listened to a lot of crying and angry people yelling at their kids. Made us uncomfortable - and we had our children with us. Tried to stay away at bedtime. Seemed like more of a local renter street than a weekly vacation rental.
Our family of 5 stayed here with our 3 kids (ages 11, 9, and 6) and we absolutely loved this bright sweet spot on the only non-traffic street in Catalina! You can walk everywhere within a few minutes including a nice walk from the dock! Owners were wonderful to deal with and we will definitely return next summer!
You can walk everywhere in Avalon - cars are not necessary and are not available. You can rent a golf cart, but they are very expensive. If you are a senior, you can go to the taxi head quarters and they will give you discount tickets so you can call a taxi if you get tired.
