Luxury Modern Four Bedroomed Property, Fully Enclosed Garden & Mountain Views

The large open plan family lounge and dining room looks out onto a large, fully enclosed landscaped garden with a recently installed private pool, suitable for all ages. The garden comes with fantastic scenic views. It has a king-size downstairs bedroom with 2 twin bedrooms and 1 x double bedroom upstairs, all with air conditioning. There is also a bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom/toilet. The upstairs terraces are in the sun from dawn to dusk. An ideal place to sit and relax, sipping a glass of Rioja, watching the sun set over the sierra Bernia Mountain. The large, open plan, fully equipped kitchen has all the usual utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware as well as a large fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster, electric oven, separate hob, washing machine, dish washer and iron, making your stay more relaxing. The lounge has TV & DVD player. The garden has a large covered patio and marbled terrace, BBQ and sun lounging areas.

Golf information: Calpe is the perfect location for the keen golfers amongst you.

The internationally well known championship course, La Sella is situated 15 miles away from the property. This is an 18 hole course with a practice range and fantastic scenery

Real de Faula - This golf club was designed by the famous Jack Nicklaus and is situated approximately 8 kms from Benidorm, or 2 kms from the N7, junction 68, in the grounds of The Sheraton Real de Faula Hotel. It has one championship 18 hole and one executive course with stunning views. A must for keen golfers.

The Ballesteros designed 18 hole course can be found at Oliva Nova.

Javea is situated 8 miles from the property. It has a well established 9 hole golf course. The Golf Club has a swimming pool, lakes full of an assortment of goldfish, koi carp and turtles.

Other golf courses within the area can be found in Calpe, Moraira and Altea. All the courses mentioned above can be found within a 30 minute drive from the property

Calpe: This luxury family house has a good view of the Sierra de Olta Mountain. 2km South is the heart of Calpe old town, steeped in history for over 2000 years and still holding traditional charm, with narrow streets, bars, and excellent restaurants to tempt the visitor. The newer parts of the town also have an eclectic selection of establishments, with a variety of restaurants providing the very best value. At the opposite end of the Calpe South (Arenal-Bol) beach stands the rock of Calpe (the Penon d'Ifach) overlooking the many specialist fish restaurants, the Marina, and the Port - from which ferries and excursions can be taken. Inland, the countryside rapidly becomes mountainous, with the Motorway and the Alicante to Denia railway in the foothills. Trips to Alicante and Valencia are well worth the hour's drive.

Places to eat: You need to visit the local restaurants for yourselves, but from personal experience we have selected a few listed below which you should enjoy!

Calpe:

Oscar’s located on the sea front. Great place to sit with a coffee or beer and people-watch!. Serve good salads and tapas.

Old Calpe – Patio De La Fuente- a beautiful restaurant in the old part of the town, offering high quality food at very reasonable prices.

Casita Suiza, Calle Jardin – a typically Swiss restaurant serving a variety of fondues.

La Pinta, Calle La Pinta – Belgian & international cuisine

Baydal Fish Restaurants by the port

Saporo Japanese Restaurant by the Port

Denia:-

Can Broch – Calle Pelota – The Chateaubriand was a truly wonderful experience

Nous étions 8 pour deux semaines,

Point négatifs :

- facturation internet, 25 euros la semaine( débit très faible ) deux jours sans connexion et le reste du séjour en 3G.

- Pas de grand plat à cuisiner ( réponse de la propriétaire : plat disparu, donc faire dans deux petits plats )

- Des couteaux qui ne coupent pas

- Impossible d'allumer la piscine alors qu'elle est éclairée en présentation de nuit sur les photos

- Le lit à l'étage est petit pour deux adultes et le matelas est moyen

- manque de tranquilité dans le jardin, trop de vis a vis avec les voisins

Owner's Response: For those people reading this review, we would ask you to read it in conjunction with all the other positive reviews we have received. When this family first booked this property it did not have a swimming pool at all, they therefore were able to use this facility throughout their stay with no additional cost and which we assume enhanced their holiday even though we were unable to provide a light to light up the pool in the evenings. They also complained that there was not a pot big enough to cook spaghetti for a family of eight people!! The request was dealt with immediately on the same day when our Manager provided a large pot. We will ensure that there is at least one pot large enough to cook spaghetti for a party of eight. You will note that we have a number of positive reviews of how well equipped the kitchen is. The property is up in the mountains and the Internet provided can be a little slow which all guests are made aware of before booking the internet. There is not high speed broadband available. We have never had any complaints about our neighbours who we know well and we have never noticed any undue disturbance. The bed upstairs is a double bed as advertised; again, no other complaints have been received about the bed or mattress. We understand that it is their choice on how they review our property; however we were disappointed to receive this review when we and our manager tried our level best to deal with these people. En Français: Pour ceux qui lisent cet avis, nous vous demandons de le lire conjointement avec tous les avis positifs que nous avons reçus. Lorsque cette famille a réservé cette propriété pour la première fois, elle n’avait pas de piscine du tout, ils ont donc pu utiliser cette installation tout au long de leur séjour, sans frais supplémentaires, ce qui nous a permis d’améliorer leurs vacances. en haut de la piscine le soir. Ils se sont également plaints qu'il n'y avait pas un pot assez grand pour cuisiner des spaghettis pour une famille de huit personnes !! La demande a été traitée immédiatement le même jour lorsque notre gestionnaire a fourni un gros pot. Nous veillerons à ce qu’il y ait au moins un pot assez grand pour cuire des spaghettis pour un groupe de huit personnes. Vous noterez que nous avons un certain nombre de commentaires positifs sur la façon dont la cuisine est bien équipée. Beautiful Villa with private pool

We had an amazing holiday.

The villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything required and more! It is a spacious airy villa in a peaceful location, a real home from home.

The private pool in the garden was a fantastic and much welcomed feature. The children had hours of fun and it was a welcome cool down from the heat for the adults. It was lovely to be able to sit and read a book on the sun lounger watching the children in the pool. There was also access to a shared pool ( a minutes walk, if that) from the villa which was clean and well maintained.

Calpe is a lovely family friendly town. There is a market on a Saturday morning selling colourful and fresh local fruit and vegetables. The old town is also worth exploring with its narrow streets and lovely restaurants. The beach is very clean and the beachside restaurants and cafes are great to sit and watch the world go by.

We would definitely recommend staying at this villa.

lovely Holiday in Calpe August 2016

We, as a family of 5, had a lovely holiday at the villa. It was spacious and clean and the kids ( well teenagers ) were pleased with a bedroom each! The kitchen was very well equipped . It was in a peaceful location but fairly close to Calpe. The terraces were lovely and relaxing.The swimming pool was well maintained . We mostly had the same to ourselves but when we shared the other people were very pleasant. I have to say it is one of the best villas we have stayed in on holiday.

Of great importance was the peace of mind we had having spoken directly with the owner Jane prior to booking . She was a delight to deal with. Very pleasant , polite and approachable.

Calpe Old Town was lovely in the evening in particular. We found a nice , reasonably price restaurant called the Italia there . I loved Altea Old Town , absolutely beautiful in the evening. We had an eventful day and evening out in Benidorm !! Again the Old town lovely ...the other side interesting let's say !!

We would have no hesiatation in recommending this villa to friends , family or in general.

Peaceful and spacious villa

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The villa was spacious, modern and clean though out. We loved the outside space, enjoying many a BBQ and afternoons soaking up the sun. The pool is shared with other villas but it is only a very short walk away, is very large, well maintained and largely quiet (we were often there on our own or with one other family). There are lilos, floats and other pool toys that can be used and we often took the lounger chairs from the villa to the pool area to make ourselves more comfortable.

The host, Jane, couldn't have been more helpful prior to our arrival in the booking process and providing us with plenty of information about the villa and the location. Jane's directions complete with pictures were absolutely vital in finding the place. You will require a car for this property as it is a little remote (and therefore very peaceful). The drive to the nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes and given the size of our party we needed to go everyday (fridge space being at a premium). The single track road leading to the development is a also little scary.

Overall, we found that the villa was excellent value for money, accommodated our 6 adults and three small children well and has pretty much everything you could need for a relaxing getaway away from the busier tourist resorts. If you like to be within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach, then this villa may not be for you.

Wonderful Villa for Family Holiday

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at this Calpe villa. Jane's communication about the villa and surrounding area was great and she was easily contactable during our stay should we have needed her help.

The villa itself was immaculate. The garden area was lovely and spacious as was the living area inside the house and the air conditioning was a bonus we couldn't have done without! The bedrooms were well sized and the additional balconies outside the front rooms was a great place to relax. The pool area was amazing and very safe for our children, our three year old could easily stand the whole way around the children's area of the pool which was well separated from the deeper section. The large selection of kids pool toys was great, I think our kids used them all during our stay!

The villa itself was a few minutes drive into Calpe but that was fine for us as the house was lovely and quiet and we had rented a car. Parking in Calpe was never a problem and also very cheap. Calpe is a lovely area to be in with plenty of things to see and do. I highly recommend this villa and the area, thank you Jane.

The house is set in the Sierra Bernia mountain range between the towns of Calpe and Benissa. This is a beautiful green area near all amenities, yet very private. Less than a 10 minute drive along country roads to the coastal town of Calpe, with its fabulous sandy, blue flag beaches, and an old working fishing port. The town offers a wide variety of shops, excellent restaurants, plenty of day and night time entertainment and sports activities. Golf, surfing, sailing, fishing, cycling, wind-surfing, walking, mountaineering and tennis are all available locally. There are weekly markets at Calpe, Moraira, Altea and Benidorm. The Terra Mitica Theme Park, Terra Natura, Aqualandia Water Park, Mundomar are all located just 30 minutes drive from Calpe. You can take a romantic walk to the top of the Penon de Ifach (Calpe Rock) in Calpe. Worth taking a drive to are the vineyards and bodegas of the Jalon Valley where you will get some fantastic wine bargains
